A promising idea but poorly executed

This idea is good but suffers from many management issues. If I unsubscribe from a member, I still receive their posts until the subscription ends. The homepage updates slowly, and the built-in player is ineffective, making it better to download content and use a reliable app.

Not suitable for its purpose

This company seems to ignore feedback and their support page. I can't listen to podcasts due to persistent error messages. The only workaround is to use mobile data instead of WiFi, which is frustrating. I have unsubscribed from all podcasts and would recommend podcasters look for alternative platforms.

Patreon’s Copy-Paste Support Is Driving Creators Away

Patreon’s support team does not listen to creators instead, they send the same copy-paste replies over and over. That behavior alone says a lot about how little care they give to the people building on their platform.In my case, my account was shut down without any meaningful explanation. I appealed and even provided suggestions from a creator’s perspective on how this could have been handled fairly. But every time I reached out, I was met with the exact same generic response, with no one actually addressing my points.I even tried submitting requests through different categories just to reach a human who might read my words. Still, all I got was automated or scripted replies, and never a real discussion.Creators spend months building their communities and trusting Patreon as their home, only to be treated like they don’t matter. If this is how Patreon continues to handle support, they will keep losing creators one by one.Patreon must do better: listen to creators, provide real answers, and handle cases with care instead of hiding behind scripts. Until then, I cannot recommend this platform to anyone who values fairness or genuine support.

I have never had such terrible customer service. They have continued to take payment despite cancellation. I have been chasing for months to have this resolved. I have sent all my details on several occasions and still no resolution. Not sure who governs this site but urgent action is required.

One of the worst customer service I’ve…

One of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was unable to subscribe due to an internal error. Reached out to customer service expecting it to be an easy fix. Went back and forth receiving half baked AI answers from someone supposed to be a human. it then went quiet. No response for over a month, luckily I had already made new account and resubscribed.Are the people in charge of these companies all clowns? It seems like the world is becoming more and more lazy. Is it much to ask to be genuinely listened to. At the end of the day I’m trying to give Patreon money and they won’t take it, if they don’t take that seriously it sums it all up. I’ll have 50 accounts at this rate.

Avoid Patreon

Patreon has been charging fees on an account I haven’t been able to access for over a year. I contacted their support team four times to cancel my account and subscription, but each time I was caught in a loop, repeatedly asked for my bank details, which I have provided multiple times.Each new customer service representative asked the same questions, despite the supposed 2–3 day response time. After more than three to four months, I still received no resolution—only automated replies. It feels like they were making money from this loop rather than addressing the issue. This level of service is completely unacceptable. They should be banned.
