I am a licensed Esthetician based in…

I am a licensed Esthetician based in the Caribbean and have held a professional account with PCA Skin since 2019.Over the past few months, their level of professionalism has been extremely disappointing. Whenever I emailed to place an order, it would take weeks for anyone to respond. For context, I also hold a Dermalogica professional account and have been with them for 20 years — never once have I experienced an issue.Since June 2025, I have been trying to place an order with PCA Skin. After repeatedly following up, I finally received an email from their marketing agent claiming that they allegedly sent me an email back in January 2025 (which I never received) and that they are no longer offering their products in my region. How utterly ridiculous. There was no warning, no courtesy notice — nothing. Meanwhile, they are still featured on my Instagram, Facebook, and even on my treatment price list.I am not begging anyone to purchase their products, and I have never experienced anything like this before.

Extremely harsh products that burns and irritate

I recently had their 6% rentinol peel. The facial wash which is supposed to be a gentle cleanser is part of the post procedure solution kit and is the wrong type of cleanser to have been included. The product contains lactic acid which should never be used on skin recovering from a peel. My skin is very red and irritated as a result and any moisturizer or hydrator from the PCA skin line stings and burns when used. A better choice would have been the creamy cleanser. This company should know better considering that they are supposed to be professionals. I ended up having to use Cetaphil gentle cleanser and moisturiser as everything in the PCA line burns and stings like hell. In regards to their 6% rentinol peel, there was no visible change or improvement in my skin whatsoever. I have never had any issues with products from Murad and Dermalogica and will stick with them moving forward.

Bait & Switch with False Advertising

Ordered Hyaluronic Acid Microneedle Eye Patches 7/17, total $29.68. FALSE ADVERTISING. Nothing on website gave WARNING TO THOSE SENSITIVE TO POLLEN TO NOT USE PRODUCT!!!! Only after paying for product & shipping and upon opening the package I see the WARNING LABEL ON BACK OF PRODUCT! I asked numerous times for a PCA SKIN prepaid shipping label, challenging the company for FALSE ADVERTISING and NEVER ONCE did PCA Skin apologize. Customer Service kept saying I had to front return/tracked shipping to get my order refunded. Absolutely disgusted at the wanton attitude about false advertising (yes, I am allergic to many types of pollen and could have had QUITE the reaction) and lack of responsibility in admitting such.

BURN BABY BURN

Got the sensi peel and then starting using their products (retinols & brightening cream)I received at my esthetics school. My skin looks HORRIBLE!! It's blotchy, peeling after two weeks, buring. It looks like someone threw acid on my face. I have always had a nice, peachy complexion (a little dry) but now it's just terrible. Going to the dermatologist.

Burn baby burn

I have the cleanser, collagen hydrate, factor 50 facial sunscreen and the 0.1% retinol. I’ve used so many different products in the past but after rave reviews from so many people and my facialist I decided to invest. I agree with the other review on here. Basically they burn! I don’t have sensitive skin but since using this even my foundation aggregates my skin. I do believe this product should be marketed at problematic skin such as acne for example. Those seem to cover the majority of positive reviews. My advice would be to only invest in trial sizes of any product before you invest your money and skin in PCA.

Even their sensitive skin line burns skin

Most of PCA Skin products have preservative as an early ingredient rather than being last. I obviously didn't mind this, but then, I realized almost all their products (with the exception of sheer tinted moisturizer) burn the living HELL out of my skin. I am talking about face wash, sunscreens (non-tinted), moisturizer, and most of all, their vitamin C! And I am not talking about some tingling (I can tolerate that). I am talking about REAL BURNING sensation. I realize they are well known for their chemical peels. Furthermore, all my skincare products are medical-grade (I use SkinCeuticals, Skinmedica, IS clinical, Obagi, eminence, sente and so forth). Nonetheless, NO OTHER MEDICAL-GRADE BRAND MAKES MY SKIN BURN LIKE PCA. My recommendation is to honestly go with ANY OTHER medical-grade brand.  Never again. I genuinely hope you read this review before making the same mistake I did.
