Review Time
I spent time filling out a form for a city permit. When I went to print, it first asked her to create an account (I did), then asked for money to use the form I had filled out. They prey on people that don't want to lose the work they completed. They should warn that it is a pay service before you waste your time filling out a form. I'd give it zero stars if it were possible. I deleted the account rather than rewards the deception.
The site suggested it was a free for the purposes of making edits to a pdf but neglected to make it apparent that it requires to to make and account and provide them you billing information to download the document.They also hide the cancel trial button in a different place than the change subscription options and add multiple verification screens that are designed to trick people into thinking they've canceled the trial without them actually having done so. For these reasons, trials should be given prior to requiring payment details. This is incredibly scammy behavior designed to siphon money from people who forget they signed up for a free trial or mistakenly thought they had already canceled.
If I could give NO STARS I WOULD! I cancelled my account several days before the end of the trial and they not only charged my credit card but had the audacity to charge it the following month as well! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT USE. THEY ARE A SCAM. WEBSITE CLAIMS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO EDIT, DOWNLOAD AND SEND PDFS WITHOUT SIGNING UP OR ENTERING CREDIT CARD INFORMATION BUT WAITS UNTIL YOU ATTEMPT TO SAVE THE FINISHED PDF TO TELL YOU THEY LIED AND THEY NEED A CREDIT CARD AND ACCOUNT!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS SCUMMY SCAM!
It now enables me to convert PDFs into writable formats, allowing me to fill out forms and create e-signatures. This way, I can save and send documents without needing to print hard copies, complete them, and then upload them.
I attempted to use the service to complete a W-9 form during the trial, and it was extremely frustrating. I ended up using another platform to edit the form, which worked well. However, I was later charged for a full year for what I consider a worthless service. It feels like a scam.
Was forced to use this platform in order to E-File divorce documents in time of the deadline for another State. I must've missed something during the process as I was under the impression that I had until the end of this month before being charged and yet my account has a $2 charge.
Just be aware anyone that there WILL be a charge prior to when the "Free" Trial ends (which I understand business practices, but 'Free Trial' is misleading and the charge that is done initially should be made more obvious to users!)
