I bought flight tickets through Pelikan.sk and my experience was very negative.
The price was about 40% higher than if I had booked the ticket directly. I assumed the difference included cabin baggage or some additional service, because the website stated “10 kg cabin baggage”.
In reality, it turned out to be only a small backpack, which is already included in the basic ticket anyway.
So I paid significantly more and received absolutely no added value. On the contrary, the whole process was more complicated than booking directly with the airline.
Another issue was contacting customer support. They answered the phone only after about the eighth attempt. When I tried to resolve the situation and cancel the booking, they told me I should have called immediately.
Which I actually did, but nobody answered.
For me this service is completely unnecessary. It only makes tickets more expensive and complicates communication.
Next time I will book directly with the airline.

Pelikan is doing great job

Pelikan is definitely the best travel agency I’ve ever tried and not just in Slovakia but in the whole Europe. I’ve bought multiple flight tickets through them without any problems, with great customer service and the prices were by far the cheapest.Even if you are not from Slovakia, their website has an option to be displayed in English and they have very wide range of destinations in Europe and beyond

Insure ticket

At the Slovak pelican company, I do not recommend anyone to insure their flight ticket for cancellation, because it is just a waste of money - even though they claim that they will refund a certain percentage of the amount even after the loss of employment, the truth is that they do not pay a single penny.

Awful company ! Avoid !

I bought a flight ticket in february 2020 (Order number 9120193019). The flight was cancelled and I keep emailing with these people “Katarina , Romana Babicova, Matej Spodniak about the full refund as they promised in their first email . We have made 17 emails about this refund so far which is ridiculous. It’s been 7 months and I still don’t have my money back and they suddenly mentioned that they will keep 10€ fee which should not be taken off me esp when I didn’t receive any service from them . Suddenly after my complain been raised to them , they now want to take 4.80€ from the full flight ticket price . There is no fee mentioned in their terms and conditions and I’m fed up with them and going to be raising further complains against this awful company . Big Liars . Avoid in all terms !
