We had our solar panels and batteries installed Nov 2024. After a year of use we feel we can comment properly on Phase Energy. They have been very good and provided the support we required. We are very pleased with the installation and it continues to perform well.
We had 14 solar panels a little over a year now and they've worked exactly as promised. We barely use any electricity during the sunnier seasons and sell our excess back to the grid. The installation process was very quick, professional and there has been plenty of proactive post-care from Phase. Overall a great job done.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the process, from consultation to post-installation support.Initial Consultation and QuoteThe process began with a consultation, which was handled efficiently by Phase Energy SE Ltd’s sales team. The representative visited my property, assessed my roof’s suitability, took drone photographs and provided a detailed quote within a few days. The quote was transparent, breaking down costs for panels, inverters, and installation, which I appreciated. Installation ProcessThe installation itself took two days, which was within the timeline provided. The crew was professional, arriving on schedule and keeping the site clean. They used high-quality monocrystalline panels, similar to those recommended by industry leaders, and the wiring was neatly integrated under the roof, enhancing the aesthetic. However, there was a minor hiccup when the initial setup revealed a need for additional trench to be dug in order for Internet connectivity, to allow required real time monitoring.This added a small cost, which was frustrating since it wasn’t flagged earlier. After a few emails and calls to their credit, Phase agreed it was their mistake and covered this cost. Recent Staff Changes and ImprovementsPhase Energy SE Ltd has openly acknowledged past issues, including inconsistent installation quality and customer service, which I found refreshing. I learned that the company recently overhauled its staff, replacing several team members involved in earlier errors with more experienced professionals. This followed a period of negative feedback about delayed projects and subpar workmanship, some of which I came across in online reviews. The new team appears to be better trained, and the company has implemented stricter quality checks. My project manager was proactive in resolving the internet issue, and the post-installation inspection passed without problems, suggesting a genuine effort to rebuild trust.Performance and SavingsSince activation, my system has been performing well, generating about 90% of the expected output based on my energy usage. The online monitoring provides clear insights into production, which has been helpful. I’m seeing a noticeable reduction in my electricity bills—around 53% so far—though it’s early days, and savings will likely improve as we learn to live with solar. The 25-year warranty on panels and a 10-year workmanship guarantee offer peace of mind, aligning with industry standards.Customer Service and SupportPost-installation support has been a highlight. The customer service team responded promptly to my queries about the app setup and provided a follow-up call to ensure everything was running smoothly. This contrasts with some older reviews I read, where response times were criticized. Phase Energy installed solar panels to 2 properties 25th February 2025. * Multiple problems remain following 1 no show & 2 other visits by their Head Engineer.* 2 fire risks + 30kg unsecured battery at one property* Neither battery ever connected to either house.* Installations never tested.* No information/booklet left with instructions regarding servicing etc for battery. * Breaches of their obligations as laid out within their contract + those in the HIES Code of Conduct.There appears to be no governing body interested in holding this company to account.Yes, they have agreed to covering the costs of all the remedial work required to bring this installation up to the required standard - and finally work!This had been, and is continuing to be, an absolute nightmare!Annie Bullock, Devon
We got a call from Phase Energy about the fact that they were in the area and could supply solar panels and batteries at very good prices. As this was something I was considering. I asked for a quote, which turned out to be competitive. Although we already had solar panels installed, the offer was attractive enough that we decided to replace the entire system—despite the existing panels being only 11 years old—and to maximise the use of our roof space. We also ordered three Tesla batteries.Overall, the installation process was handled well and the service was generally good. However, there were delays with the Tesla battery installation due to supply issues on Tesla’s side.Unfortunately, there was a bit of an hiccup after installation. Tesla delivered their battery pack in large black packaging, which was left on our drive. Phase energy said the responsibility to collect the packaging was Tesla’s but Tesla didn’t turn up and since I did not have a contract with Tesla expected Phase energy to deal with it. The packaging was removed after about 2 months.Otherwise we are happy with everything.
