i would advise everyone to simply stay AWAY! SCAM

i would advise everyone to simply stay away from using this company1. they automatically renewed my subscription when i had already gone and cancelled the service. for the full year. Now comes the extra stress of dealing with there customer service. its really ironic how quick companies these days can take money but find it hard to refund.lets see if they even refund.2. the courses are very out dated.3. so far they have responded with a blank mail saying your ticket is upto date.4. try to unsubscribe to there spam mail never works either they just set it back to active... you would of thought with all the developers they know they would have a page that actually has buttons that work.[update]shame this website does not allow you to upload a picture they have sent a message back saying they will not refund me $299 even though the payment was taken today.

Purchased a "Lifetime " membership of TrainSimple. Apparently a lifetime membership is only a year or so as Pluralsight took them over but has no options to assist. You can sign up for a 10-day free trial but after all the feedback on this trusted review site, I am steering well clear. I will look at other options as all of the reviews for 2018 and 2019 for Pluralsight seem to be very negative with issues with charging credit cards without authorisation and the content is not up to date

This platform is 💩, go to Udemy

CONS:- courses are outdated- you have no info on the last update date of the course, only the creation date (which we don't care). - the price is a joke- they try to renew your subscription automatically but in my case I had a prepaid card so "nice try" PROS:- the website is beauuuutiful- you receive super looking emails in your mailbox- maybe if you want to work with old versions of some old frameworks or old languages, it can be "used".Conclusion:To put a subscription button on a learning website, you need COURSES, and GOOD COURSES.

I followed a course for beginners in python in Pluralsight. The course is not well taught in my opinion because presume and omit fundamental part to be taught. I resolved the problem buying a book "Python Crash Course" by Eric Matthes. No worth for the money spent.

Bring Back Code School, you killed a better product.

Man, Pluralsight took over Code School which was amazing, proceeded to kill it and force anyone who had purchased an annual license for Code School to to suffer through Pluralsight's absolutely inferior product. In my case I literally just ate the rest of my subscription. I can find the information in their lessons on YouTube for free. Code School was superior and actually took the time to guide one through an interactive lesson. Such a shame. And they keep emailing me to renew. Renew what!? Give you my money so you can waste my time? I think not.

Good support

My issue was resolved without fuss. The original agent that supported me was rude and dismissive, but that was just one isolated person. Everything else has been very smooth with Pluralsight. Thank you for your response.

Negative Review for Pluralsight

Beware! I am writing this negative review for pluralsight specifically about their auto renewal contract. Most companies auto renewals go month to month after the first year. We just got billed for a full new year with their auto-renewal with really no notice. This was a $ 4,000 hit to our credit card. We reached out to Plural account representative only to have him say they could do nothing about it "sorry". I read their terms and conditions and it does state that it does auto renew and there is no refunds. I have been in the IT service business for 30 years and I have never seen this kind of tactic. Great way to loose a client. There are some specific laws in CA that protect us from auto renewals which I will be using to get our money back. This Pluralsight policy is written to specifically screw people, so I would be careful working with this company before you sign with them.Update: 10-4-2018Reversed charges with credit card, sent email to sales representative and their legal department with no reply. Pluralsight billed us again with no communication. Visa is now blocking their account.

Not worth it.

It has the potential to be a very good space for people to learn and share.Tutors skip alot of information, especially when rendering. Their scenes always look perfect after one render, mine would have exposure problems too bright and not sure how to tweak things. I am learning 3ds max and Vray. Not many tutorials either for architectural/ Interiors. If you want to ask questions you have to pay extra on top of your subscription. I am paying £25 for nothing. It would be nice if a live chat was introduced, even a 24 hour later promise to reply to quiries. My 2nd time using it but after this month, I will cancel my subscription and maybe try elsewhere.
