They will renew your subscription…

They will renew your subscription without permission. Then they will claim that they can not reimburse you due to their 'no refunds' policy. They suppose that their policy is more important than the Consumer Contracts Regulations which came into force in June 2014

I do not recommend Pluralsight to learn…

I do not recommend Pluralsight to learn anything. The courses there are not very well structured and topics are explained superficially. iN Devops track and Web tracks i met with the same problems. Tutors hide some knowledge or think something is obvious and they don't tell you that piece of info. Then you get lots of errors trying to figure out what the problem was. It feels as if they just randomly asked someone to make a course, not knowing if they can teach or not. NOT EVERY EXPERT can teach no matter how many certifications they have!!!!

Unethical company

Unethical company, would not do business with them again. I confirm other reviews about this company charging renewal with no notice and I immediately contacted them and they refused to refund even though its at beginning of the renewal and we no longer use their service and have not in months. Manager was rude

Let me just weigh in here with everyone…

Let me just weigh in here with everyone else. This business practice should be illegal. How they can keep doing this is crazy. It would be one thing to charge for another month if you didn't cancel, but a WHOLE YEAR with no refund?I thought what they did to me was bad, but the Free Trial is worse. Try free for 10 days and if you don't cancel, we charge you for a whole year and you can not get your money back.AWESOME! This really is an EDUCATION site. What you learn is that you can never trust any business to be ethical.THANKS PLURALSIGHT!

Stay Away! No Notifications of Upcoming Renewals!

Unethical! Stay Away! PluralSight did NOT notify me of an annual subscription renewal prior to charging me, like other companies who undertake ethical business practices. I contacted the company and was told that it is their policy NOT to refund any funds for any reason when subscription renewals are processed. After I responded to the company that I felt like their business practices were no different from theft and threatened to file complaints everywhere, a manager responded that they would make an exception in my situation and that I would get a refund within 5-7 business days. Still, he reiterated that it was my fault for getting charged and that if I didn't want to be charged I should have canceled my account prior to the renewal processing date. Guess what, Pluralight?! People don't put subscription cancellation dates on their calendars! This is why a notification of renewal is a general business practice. I waited for 10 business days and still had not gotten a refund. I gave up on getting my refund and decided to fight this with my credit card company and with the BBB. This company is absolutely horrible. Do NOT do any business with them. There are plenty of other companies that offer similar services. I already filed a complaint with my credit card company and got the funds refunded on the basis that the company's unethical business practices.

I would give Pluralsight 0 star

I would give 0 star. When I signed up for free trail, there is no where at Pluralsight's website that shows the return policy. I feel like this 10 day free trail is like a bait. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel the subscription before the free trail expired, and they charged me $450 right away without even sending me any notifications/warnings.When I contacted their customer service, they referred me to this return policy and said "we would be happy to extend a promotional offer to you and issue a $50 refund while canceling your subscription". Wow, $50. How generous! This is absolutely unacceptable. With this business model, no wonder their stock price plunged over the past year. Just stay away from this company!

free trails

most free trials allow you to have the content until it expires after you cancel it. I cancelled it in case i forget to do it before it expires (as i do with most free trials). this instantly disabled the free trial.

Deception and Trickery as a Business Model

One of the most SCUMMY and DECEPTIVE companies out there.STAY AWAY from this company. In August 2018 I signed up for the (((FREE))) 10 day trial, and after going through the disappointingly mediocre material on the site I decided to cancel the trial again. After having SUCCESSFULLY cancelled my subscription and having my account downgraded to the free version again, I closed the site and moved on, thinking nothing of it.But these SLIMY, HONORLESS people decided to charge me the FULL 300$ anyway. ALL WITHOUT ANY E-MAIL NOTIFICATION WHATSOEVER!After contacting them about this issue, their arrogant and rude customer service just brushed it off like it was MY fault for them charging me money despite my cancellation. They just referred me to handle this with my local bank or vendor.TL;DR Cancelled the free trial, was still charged the full price AND didn't even receive the subscription status on their website. Customer support didn't seem fazed and just brushed it off, taking the money for themselves like clockwork.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DO YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!
