The EIIS Food & Sustainability course has been equally enriching and inspiring, covering all aspects of food sustainability throughout the entire value chain. It featured highly engaging content and discussions with top-level guest experts, which encouraged us to reflect on how we can contribute (through our diverse areas of expertise) to solving the challenges currently affecting the food system.
Special mention goes to the organization of the course, both its online component, with a highly intuitive and educational platform, and the on-site experience in Rome, where training activities were seamlessly combined with networking and gastronomy.

The Food & Sustainability course gives you a wide subject of topics relating to sustainability. From traditional farming to agroecology, to the SDG framework, the correlation between food and health, in depth insights about foodwaste- and loss ... Each topic was presented by specialists in the field, who encouraged us to reflect on how we can contribute to a more sustainable future.Thanks to the course I had the pleasure of meeting and collaborating with an international group of dedicated foodies. Each one of them focused on one goal: making the food chain a little bit better for out planet. The culmination of the course takes place in Rome, where we were immersed in a two-day program that perfectly balances educational content with a touch of gastronomy.
The 10th edition of the EIIS food and sustainability course was not only invigorating but also introduced me to many people from diverse backgrounds around the world, whom I now count as friends. From start to finish, the EIIS staff were always on hand to assist and answer questions. A special mention to Sara and Sveva, both of whom always had a smile. The onsite experience went above and beyond what any of us expected. I can't recommend this course highly enough, as it is not just educational but also inspirational.

The Whale Watching Guide course was very interesting. I liked the way the modules were constructed, with live classes and videos to combine the lessons.The highlight for me was the On Sea Experience, were we created bounds with our fellow classmates and teachers, and learned to collect scientific data as well as living on a boat for three days. I highly recommend it!
The Food & Sustainability course was a personal challenge that I decided to take and it exceeded my expectations! It resulted in a very rich experience, full of learning and connections with new colleagues.It was an intense journey on Food System learnings including topics like sustainable agriculture, food loss and food waste, sustainable nutrition considering the Innovation, education and policy approaches. The course concluded with the on site experience with visits at International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Quintosapore, an agroecology example of agriculture! I would like to thank Sveva Ciapparoni and the EIIS - European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability team for leading us throughout the course and the On-Site Experience!I enjoyed every single moment with the new friends 😊
Very well rounded program with lots of experts subject matters all more passionate then the others. The onsite experience is one not to be missed as it gives the real practice insight into sustainability in fashion. The online platform/self paced course is also very well made.

During the course Food and Sustainability offered by EIIS, we were provided with a broad range of topics, from sustainable agriculture to circular economy, from food waste to international agricultural development. This made the course enriching at the same time that it provided a well rounded introduction to many topics related to sustainability. There are additional resources provided if you want to delve deeper into a particular topic, however, the course itself moves at a fast pace which makes it hard to delve deeply into specific area without one's own initiative.The course brings people together from many backgrounds, geogrophies, opinions and ages, making conversations dynamic and intriguing.In addition, the organizer of the course Sveva is a wonderful person, always available to resolve any challenges you might be having, from navigating the online platform to course material.Overall I would recommend this course if you wish to have a pleasant experience exploring different themes related to sustainability.
