Great dancewear brand, always so reliable and the quality of items has been top notch. I always purchase from this company - delivery is super fast too. I know that I have no problems with exchanges too, as the customer service team are always happy to help organise different sizes if I make a mistake!
I bought an item from Prima Dancewear at Move It, and it was a complete disaster. The card machine was broken, so I had to pay cash and was told no receipt could be issued—now they refuse a refund, claiming “no proof of purchase.” I was never informed that refunds were not allowed, and there were no changing rooms or mirrors to properly assess fit.The item itself is poorly made, with huge gaping sections, terrible fit, and cheap material. It has not been worn and can be inspected, yet they still refuse a refund. Other vendors at Move It handle these situations fairly; Prima Dancewear clearly does not.This is misleading, inflexible, and unlawful behavior. Avoid unless you want to risk being trapped into keeping an item that is both poorly made and does not fit.
Awful customer service and very poor quality garmentsOne of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a dancewear company. The level of customer service and general attitude was dismissive and disrespectful throughout. Overall, one of the worst dancewear retailers I’ve dealt with. Poor customer service — customer beware - you will be added to a blacklist!! After leaving honest negative feedback about my experience, my account was restricted and I was unable to place further orders.In their initial email, they explicitly linked this restriction to my review and stated that it could be reconsidered if I updated or removed it. When I raised concerns about this, the explanation then changed to “issues with orders,” however no clear details of those issues were ever provided despite multiple requests.The overall communication then became dismissive, with my follow-up being met with a response stating they did not feel further correspondence was needed.This raises serious concerns about how they handle customer feedback. Customers should be able to leave honest reviews without fear of being penalised or effectively blacklisted.Based on my experience, I would urge other customers to think carefully before ordering.I have retained the full email correspondence.*****************UPDATE**********************Following the response making accusations of inappropriate and hostile communication I now publish the e-mail, which shows no such thing.
