Terrible experience. Car arrived severely damaged transported from QLD to NSW, was shocked and devastated to see my car arrive in this state. Damage was quoted as $8000-9000 by 2 independent garages, as well mould & rust due to the compromised trunk lid.

Lengthy claims process, had to organise repairs / gather quotes ourselves. Was difficult to reach them to communicate. This incident put me out of a car for 3 months, right before I start a new job.

Would not recommend this company. From other reviews, it appears I am not the only one. I understand mistakes happen but considering the multiple incidences and general lack of accountability & apology, this comes across as pure carelessness.

Disgusting and lack of care

Disgusting and lack of care. We recently had a wheel chair accessible vehicle for my sister transported from WA to Vic with Prixcar. The Prixcar vehicle condition report when it left WA did not indicate any damage in the upper left front corner of the car, this damage was clearly caused during transportation. Prixcar have now twice refused to accept the damage during transport. We are now being told "Prixcar does not provide insurance cover for transported vehicles" yet the team member has "Insurance Claims" on their email signature. Your organisation should hang your head in shame you would treat someone this way.

How can the company improve? Communication would be a fundamental start. Communication was non-existent. My car was delivered late by nearly a week and my delivery date got changed 3 times- that’s 3 days where I took time off work to wait for a delivery that didn’t come or, on the last day, was late by 3 hours. So the initial 4 hour wait for delivery became a wasted full day waiting for delivery. And again, there was NO communication about delivery changes. So, if you want a car that was new but then spent 2 weeks in a depot near your home (that you aren’t allowed to access) and then wait in for 3 days waiting for delivery, then go ahead and take your chances in this company. But I would I would never recommend them!

Don't do it!

Don't do it! terrible experience with Prix Car. they picked up the car 2-days after I purchased it which was fine, then it sat in Melbourne at the depot for 10-days with no contact or updates. I was calling everyday for a good week, asking for updates and no one could give me any correct information. I paid allot for this car transport cpmpany to get to me on a certain date and it didnt. I asked for partial reimbursement and got nothing back. Terrible service, no resposibility taken. Will NEVER use this company again. What a joke!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

My new vehicle turned up damaged & ridiculous amount of time from Adelaide to Sydney. Despite dealer trying to get sorted they have denied damage. Wish I'd read these reviews before!. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, you'd be better off driving the vehicle interstate yourself. They are a joke!

Collection booking botched

Prixcar booked an appointment (phone & SMS confirmed) for collection after the office closed. Having driven 1 hour to collect, had to return next morning again. Infuriating the matter was they blamed the Dealer (who had nothing to do with the matter ). I asked for compensation and was told to contact dealer. when pushed apparently a manager was going to call me but, surprise surprise, no call was received. its not rocket science....errors are made but a small token to admit the mistake and compensate for fuel would have calmed the matter immediately but nooooo.....we will argue and blame others!!

Terrible company late delivery car…

Terrible company late delivery car damaged when finding minor damage claim it’s too late to claim should have stuck with Ceva but Allied movers recommended Prixcar. Both pick up and delivery by sub contractors will never recommend or use Prixcar.

Very poor service

Dealership booked this transport and delivered car to their depot on 4/10/2023 to transport the vehicle from Adelaide to Mount Gambier on. Initially they gave estimated delivery date on 9/10/2023 (Monday). It has already been 5 days. Now they say somebody will contact me sometime this week. This is crazy. Adelaide to Mount gambier is only 4.5 hours drive. And they are taking forever to deliver. Very poor customer service. I don’t care what their reason is, they gave estimated delivery date on 9/10/2023 and they failed to complete their job on time. This was my third time used their services. Before they used to provide good service. Don’t know what had happened now. Prior vehicle delivery from TAS to NSW and adelaide to mount gambier was on time. This time, they delivered poor service. Will never use their services and i will recommend my friends and family not to use their services

The car was delivered sooner than…

The car was delivered sooner than expected which was great but after following up on scratch marks and a broken spotlight glass —- I was told that they cannot replace/ repair…. even though i had photos of the condition of the car prior to dropping st their depot. Disappointed in your service.I had a mediator from Prixcar contact me through email last week Friday 14/07/23, advising that she’s looking into the issue. 5 days later and I have have not heard back from the mediator nor received any replies from Prixcar since.
