Great communication

Great communication! I was kept updated from start to finish and so was the seller of my pram. I had already read good reviews about them. They were less than half the price of other companies and made the whole experience less stressful. The couriers were very careful with my pram and were polite and friendly. I would recommend them.

Had 2 leather armchairs delivered and…

Had 2 leather armchairs delivered and the couriers had broken 2 legs, chunks of wood out of the other legs and completely twisted around so the screws were bent! Deep scratches in the leather!I paid £18 extra insurance and they refused to compensate as said it was out side 24hrs which it certainly was not!! I’ve now got 2 £600 chairs that I cannot use! Cowboy couriers, disgusting behaviour from this company!

Will damage your item and not refund you

Proovia couriers use contractors, not their own workforce. When said contractors damage and ruin your item, Proovia will find any reason not to process your claim. They will not even refund the cost of delivery, when they item is not accepted due to the damage. Use any other courier. Avoid this company at all cost!!

Please avoid this company

Please avoid this company, they are crooks.Paid for premium, smashed my item overnight and didn't tell me til it arrived. Was only wrapped in a moving blanket and shoved in with several other items in am amazon bag.Initial contact was OK to say they'd offer half carriage and item value minus their insurance excess. When asked why only half carriage they just blanked all messages. Read other reviews, this is their standard tactic. Will be forwarding to trading standards. The edit after the reply: I chose proovia because they wrap in blankets. I have photographs of the extra cardboard they crammed into the stand that broke it. So whilst they say no extra packaging, they are so poorly trained they don't know what is good or not for handling items. Lovely to see that after 3 ignored emails you can actually reply when you want to. Further evidence of it being wilful.

I have used Proovia to collect…Table/sofa

I have used Proovia to collect several household furniture items recently and for the majority I have been satisfied. There is generally good communication and items delivered on time.Unfortunately on 2 occasions the items have been marked/damaged by dirty ratchet straps, even after a a request to handle with care.Item 1 -light grey sofa delivered with dark oil type stains from the straps..Proovia refunded the sofa but not the collection fee.The sofa will be disposed of .Item 2- large Neptune dining table delivered with 2 diagonal ingrained marks across the table top .Claimed for fee to address the problem by carpenter.Proovia have offered half the delivery fee!I have forwarded my dispute to the relevant complaints body .Proovia have reviewed their offer. They have increased the amount to £100. I personally feel that this is an insult .

Untrustworthy, negligent and a battle to get compensation

I entrusted proovia couriers to collect and deliver a beautiful antique Victorian rocking horse as a gift for my daughter.I purchased the premium service for peace of mind in case of loss or damage although I didn’t envision this happening.Unfortunately the worst case scenario happened. The delivery was late and arrived without notice as I was going to my wedding rehearsal, which I was then late for!On arrival and inspection the horse was extremely damaged and leaning to the side so I contacted proovia to inform them. I also spoke to the lady I purchased the horse off who confirmed they had rushed the horse into the van and taken no care with it, it had then spent the entire journey unsecured and rocking and being bashed about to arrive in such a poor state.Fast forward over two months of slow replies to my emails and I’ve had no compensation paid or my courier fee refunded.I will fight til the end I will not let history or this antique be destroyed by negligence and be coerced or tricked into forgetting by the slow emails and requests for information and evidence they already hold.Do not trust proovia if there is damage they just play dumb and keep asking the same questions and responding really slowly hoping you will forget. I will not. This was a piece of history and a gift for my daughter to play with that has a high value and they destroyed it within an instance when all they are literally paid for is to transport something with care.Admit your negligence and just pay the compensation, it’s simple, it’s your mistake you were trusted and worse than damaging the item is then fighting against rightly compensating someone for breaking their property and sentimental valuables.

I've used Proovia a few times with awkward items and I can honestly say they take care of your item instead of chucking it about and breaking it.First class service and very good rates.
