Review Time
The 2 men who delivered my items were very pleasant and efficient. However, the sofas and armchair were disappointedly marked when they arrived. Dirty marks were evident on the sofas and armchair which I pointed out to one of the man. I was told to just wipe it clean with cloth. The items were professionally cleaned by the seller prior to collection. It didn’t arrive the same clean condition as they were when they left the seller. The men who collected the items were different to the ones who delivered them to me today.One of the 2 men who collected the items from the seller 2 days before were “quite horrible and felt very intimidated” during the collection day according to the seller.
Extremely poor level of communication - messages not correctly responded to - tracking did not work - no phone call before delivery although this was requested as it is a rental property - delivery men's English was limited and they were offhand and rude - the delivery has been quite a stressful experience
We were kept informed of the driver’s progress regularly through the day, and the furniture was delivered shortly before the start of the delivery window with no damage to the packaging. The driver and his mate carried the heavy piece on the most accessible route round the back of the house to position it exactly where required in our living room which was above and beyond their remit (to deliver to the hallway)
