Review Time
I bought a custom made piece of furniture online. The manufacturer stated that delivery would be to the room where the item was to be located. I provided the required details such as no stairs involved, easy access for parking, the destination room was on the ground floor etc. On the day, two guys turned up and I'm unsure whether or not they could speak english or chose not to. All I got from them was "very heavy, very heavy". They promptly dumped the item in the hallway, blocking the front door open and disappeared without warning. I was then left to phone around friends to summon assistance with rain being blown into the house through the blocked open front door.Really not happy with the way I was dealt with and the way they disappeared. It was obvious they couldn't care less.
I used proovia to transport a sofa that someone purchased from me on ebay. They completely ruined it in transportation, not properly covered, black oil stains on the beige fabric, lost the legs, they took no care at all. The buyer refused delivery and after submitting a complaint and chasing daily, I still have no update on being reimbursed.
