Review Time
I ordered a SAP EPC through a service. The assigned assessor created initial SAP files using placeholder insulation data while my builder was away, which was acceptable at the draft stage. However, when I provided the correct as-built insulation information, I was informed that correcting this would incur an additional consultancy fee. This was not a design change but fixing incorrect assumptions so the EPC could accurately reflect the construction. Being charged extra to correct their own mistakes is disappointing and unprofessional, causing delays in my flat conversion project.
I recently made a request to get a PAT test complete for a rented property. I had a very quick response saying that the fieldworker would get in touch to arrange an appointment.3 weeks pass and no appointment had been arranged. I contact PropCert to find out why and they said that the fieldworker has tried but couldn't get in contact. Question, why didn't PropCert inform me of this weeks ago if they had tried? It's because they hadn't tried at all.PropCert give me a phone number to call so I can contact the fieldworker directly. I call the number and the fieldworker says that they will call me back with an date and time. As you can probably guess, I had no call back.I then contacted PropCert again where they said that an appointment had been arranged. Nice of them to let me know. On the day of the appointment, the tenants received a message to say that the fieldworker was stuck at another job and would rearrange the appointment. Can you guess? No appointment was rearranged.I contacted PropCert again to ask why and they told me that the fieldworker told them that he attended the property and no one was in. I didn't know PropCert hired untrustworthy fieldworkers and that was a blatant lie.I was finally able to (after a month and half of trying) to convince them to assign a different fieldworker. They agreed and told me they would contact me asap. I felt hope that I would finally get an appointment.2 days later, no call, no messages just 1 email to say "You're request has been cancelled and refunded". No reason as to why just cancelled.I was messed about for over a month and a half with nothing to show for inconvenience they have caused me and my tenants.Really poor service, communication from the fieldworker was dreadful and if they can't even use a phone properly to make contact then I don't feel confident letting them near anything else electrical.Will never use again and you should be ashamed of the service you have provided.
Needed EPC for 2 properties.Found the company to be the best priced, delivering an excellent service and turnaround that fitted in with my availability.Nicholas was very friendly and provided lots pf recommendations which we will take on board.Definitely use the company for my other properties
