Pure talk advertises an unlimited plan for life on radio and TV ads. I called and was told that plan is not available, even though they continue to advertise this plan. They are a very dishonest company. They should be punished for dishonesty to the public.
I wish someone would have told me not to use my old SMS card because the disruptions and crazy thing happening on my old SMS card just transferred onto my new phone. A week later I realized that might be the problem, put in the new SMS card and could tell that fixed my problem, however, now I have to call your office to active the new card. Darn, lost the old card and now have to wait to find someone with a phone so I can call you.
Coverage is very good, virtually the same as we had with Verizon and even a bit better some places. We experienced about a 35% savings from our former account. I was a little disappointed in the bait and switch--we selected a plan that was advertised for $31.95 (I think) for each line, but ended up at closer to $45. Also, we were told that we need to stay with Puretalk for 3 years even though we paid for our new phones up front. "No contract?" All in all we like dealing with a company that shares our values and has US based customer service with people who actually speak English.
