Review Time
We were selected 3 pictures from our wedding for the puzzle. We chose to label the box "Golden Wedding". Then for the anniversary weekend the family worked together to discover the pictures. It was the hit that brought everyone together.
We ordered a puzzle for my daughter to do for a 4h project to turn in a a local fair. My daughter worked hard and almost had it together when we noticed a piece was missing. My daughter was down in the dumps thinking she wouldn’t have a project. I contacted Puzzleyou and they happily offered to replace the puzzle. We got the new puzzle and my daughter finished it and turned her 4h project in. She wound up getting a blue ribbon in her class too. Thank you PuzzleYou you were great to work with and made my daughter so happy
The price was good, the promptness was excellent, and the puzzle quality was high, although I wish the pieces were slightly larger on the 1000-piece puzzle. I suspect some negative reviews come down to the chosen photographs. The ordering app does an excellent job of telling you if your photographs are high-resolution enough. Additionally, make sure that they are clear, not blurry. Finally, photos with vibrant colors are going to produce a more fun result than photos that are all within a similar color range. I chose a puzzle with 12 photos in it. That was a good choice, but next time I'll choose more vibrant photos to begin with, and then I'll increase the saturation before uploading. (I might even use a filter to "cartoonify" them!) My only complaint about the app is that it should have a cropping tool built into it. I had to eyeball my photos on the virtual puzzle, crop them on my own system, and re-upload the cropped ones in order to make sure that faces were fully visible. The quality of the puzzle I received was really in my own hands: PuzzleYou delivered exactly what I specified.
We ordered 2 puzzles for a large family reunion. The colors were great, boxes looked great, shipping was timely and great - but each puzzle smelled very strongly. The pieces were wrapped in plastic and the puzzle box was also wrapped in plastic, and then they were wrapped and shipped. Had we known about the smell, we would have opened them ahead of the event and let them air out. They were very popular at our reunion.
