Review Time
I stumbled accross the sight while looking for a birthday gift. I was able to convert a family painting into a wonderful high quality puzzle that has been enjoyed immensely. The only big issue I had was scaling the image size to fit with in the box. it took a while in a seperate photo editor to get it sized and cropped adequately enough to be used. I would like to create another but it would make the experience so much easier if better photo editing option were built in. I was lucky my girlfriends skills made this part possible for me. In fairness though, other sights had the same issue.
I created a puzzle out of two double-page spreads from the high school year book for students coming to the library. The quality of my puzzle was great, and overall I'm very pleased with how it turned out. The pieces are cleanly cut, and no pile of cardboard dust along with them in the box. I was disappointed at first, not expecting the matte finish, and the colors aren't as vibrant as in the original, but all the pieces were clear and the images were sharp and bright when the puzzle was assembled.I especially liked that I was able to combine two slightly subpar images that were only sharp enough for a 500 pc puzzle into one high res 1,000 piece puzzle.
I can only blame myself, but if your workflow would have had a mechanism to prevent the image I submitted from being turned into a puzzle that would have helped. On your website, the puzzle image looked fine. In real life, the dark spots all blended in and it made building the puzzle unpleasant because there were no discernible features.
To be totally honest I thought that the puzzle would be of ok quality, but I was wrong. It was like a photo that I took of my granddaughter. The photo was of her putting a puzzle together. The clearness and quality was excellent. I am very pleased.
It was an easy task to order the puzzle. My wife loves puzzles and she was convalescing from a surgery and only had the use of one arm. The puzzle looked great, even though the photo was not a HD photo. We will do it again for the end of the year as a gift.
