rain SA are professional thieves.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience using rain. after cancelling my subscription with them, they were quick to phone me. The 2 routers they were collected within the week. Yet they were attempting to deduct money from my account still. With no need for money to be in that account, the order bounced. Without fail they attempted to deduct EVERY SINGLE DAY. R8,50 is what every attempt cost me. Conveniently now none of the 4 numbers they had contacted me by in the past existed. No reply on facebook, fact, way to contact them at all. When my transferred money to the account month end, to make some payments, not only did they deduct R680 from me once, but within less than 30min, they deducted it twice. When I acted as if I was interested in starting a new service with them again, in less than 30 seconds, they phoned back. The man on the phone said he will have them phone me back. Low and behold, nothing. carry on the cake? immediately the number no longer exist. Two weeks pass. A lady phones stating that half of the money will be refunded. Another week pass with no results. I send another DM on Facebook and this time I am told "As a post paid customer, payments are made after services are used. the two payments recently collected are for the services delivered in March and April. consequently there are no refunds available"... I can not stress enough that the routers were collected on the 6th of March already and no services could possibly have been delivered as the routers were replaced with fiber on the 25th of Feb. So they charge after cancellation, offer no support or communication, have no sense of accountability and as it stands, i recommend them to no one.
