I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Raiz Invest Australia Limited’s customer support.
I tried contacting their hotline for assistance and waited on hold for more than one hour, yet no one ever answered the call. For a financial services company that manages customer funds, this level of support is unacceptable. When customers need help with their accounts or have urgent questions, reliable and timely support should be a basic expectation.
Long wait times can happen occasionally, but having no response after waiting over an hour shows a serious lack of support infrastructure. It leaves customers feeling ignored and unable to resolve important issues related to their finances.
I hope Raiz Invest improves their customer support system by increasing staffing or offering better response channels. Customers should not have to spend hours trying to get basic assistance.

I withdrew the $400 'market return' profit I had made on my $20,000 as I suddenly needed extra cash. Because of this generous profit I then transferred all my savings to Raiz - $70,000. The first problem was that I noticed the withdrawal amount from my bank account was different to the 'invested amount' in my Raiz account by about $400. Where had that gone? I immediately emailed them and of course had to wait two weeks to hear back. In that time, they increased my 'invested amount' by about $400. Then gold prices dropped and the market became volatile and now I am missing about $800 all up. Just poof, gone, vanished and I know the market is a risk but today they have emailed me to say "please send screenshots of both accounts as proof", which of course is impossible because all that happened two week ago and who would dream you would have to produce a screenshot for them to listen and do something about it. I am now closing my account with them.
After being a RAIZ/ACORNS customer for over 10 years, I find the RAIZ rewards program process frustrating and lengthy. DO NOT BOOK ACCOMMODATION through RAIZ Rewards, if you book in good faith through the app you'll be disappointed and the whole process leaves a bad taste. I have accumulated over $500 IN RAIZ Rewards however to achieve this it has required me to follow up with the RAIZ support team, who are actually very good to deal with. Quite often the property you book with may cancel your reward. Meaning a lot of twoing and frowing with booking agents booking.com and wotif, then supplying evidence to the support team, often to no avail. I have had no issues with other RAIZ Rewards providers other than booking.com and wotif. It's a terrible shame as RAIZ in general is a fantastic platform and product, except for the RAIZ rewards program
