The Santorini circuit was absolutely incredible! Rat Race puts on a fantastic race experience! My husband and I traveled from the US to do this race. It was truly an epic experience, worth every penny, and worth every minute of the 11 hour plane ride to get there.
Rat Race Santorini Circuit. What an amazing race! Santorini has always been on my bucket list for many years. I thought I could do both a visit and sport. Not only that, do some very unique that many have not done and the opportunity to run through the city corridors of Santorini. I am in!! The course is very well thought out and supported by staff. The staff were very supportive, helpful and compassionate! The course provided a scenic type tour of the various highlights/structures of each island. Such a variety terrain provided its own challenges which I appreciate. I felt safe with satellite trackers during the race. The training provided the day before for the kayak potion top notch, was very useful and much needed on what to expect. It is not like you will be kayaking across a clear lake. The run through the town's were a highlight for me. The finish was priceless which staff and various finished runners cheering for you!! Highly recommend this adventure!
We were the lucky few to experience Santorini fully on foot and by kayak. The course was wonderfully thought out and really challenging, actually ended up being harder than it was presented. For a destination holiday and a “little run” it was exactly what I could have hoped for. The staff were very supportive and helped in any way they could. My only criticism is that I had to make other accommodation arrangements for my wife who wasn’t running with us. Not being familiar with the area it was very hard to plan. A list of places close to the hotels being used by Rat Race would have been fantastic. Great race overall.
This was my first Rat Race, but it will not be my last. The team are such a professional outfit, they leave nothing to chance and safety is paramount. They made sure all we had to worry about was finishing the event. A very friendly, and very professional team 10/10
I participated at the Maltese Falcon. It was a beautiful journey. I like the fact that you have to deal with what recources are avalable. It's a challenge, not a competition. The guidance and the help from the ratrace crew are perfect. The hotels we stayed in were superb.I had a great time with all the ratrace paricipants and completing this challenge. The running on Gozo I should not worry to much about. It's quite fun. The kayak stage is beautiful! And the last part on the bike is hilly and sometimes hard, but that's part of the experience. It shouldn't be a walk in the park always. And it's also not something you can't overcome. You can do it! Believe and you will achieve!Make sure you've done your practice rounds at home and you will be fine.
My first Ratrace. I had no idea what to expect.The team were absolutely amazing, helpful and supportive in every way. Could not have asked for more.So lovely to meet inspired participants with some fun banter, a love for the outdoors and a good challenge.Already signed up for my next event and no doubt many more to follow.Loved every minute being out of my comfort zone!
My first Rat Race and one of the hardest challenges I've completed.Jim and his team were excellent providing awesome guidance, organisation and tireless support through the route.The route itself particularly the biking was extremely hilly - certainly more than I had expected and the bikes provided were pretty basic but we got through it.My first Rat Race but not my last.
Thank you SO much for such a wonderful adventure! Molly and I loved every minute and were super impressed by the very thorough and thoughtful planning and organisation. What made the event extra fabulous was the spirit, support and camaraderie amongst everybody, but especially your wonderful team. All three elements of running, canoeing and cycling blended together to make a fabulous day. If hesitating ‘goFor it !’ It’s amazing 🤩
