My second RatRace adventure; honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else for epic adventures free from judgement and full of like minded supportive people. Everything is organised, kit lists sent out in advance and WhatsApp groups set up. The team are all incredibly friendly and happy to answer any questions; they’re also really experienced and know what you’re going through. I always hit a wall 2/3rds in and the team know, Abi is fab at giving me enough tough love that I remember why I’m doing it, Jim is just a machine and celebrating with them all at the end is something you’ll never forget. Aches and pains fade, but you’ll never forget getting around and what you’ve achieved. Throughly recommend if you want a challenge that will help you discover a truly supportive network of people and push your comfort zone.
Rat Race Croatia, was one the best multi sport race/event I have ever done.Communication was fantastic in the lead up to it and during.The equipment was of great quality, the Accomodation was amazing and the course was breath taking.The group leaders were fantastic, the group it’s self made the event.Can’t wait to take on my next adventure.
This was my 3rd event with the rat race team and was another epic adventure. First one was in scotland, then Malta en this time in Croatia. The Rat Race team arrange everything down to the last detail.Good communication, good preparation leading up to the event and daily briefings in croatia. fantastic support, excellent accommodations, I will definitely do some more adventures with them.
I had never run a marathon, or participated in any adventure sport event, before my daughter convinced me to try the RatRace Croatia multi-day event in 2023. From the outset RatRace were clear about what the event would entail, and that while it would be tough, they would do their best to make sure we succeeded. They provided a comprehensive itinerary and kit list months in advance so it was easy to prepare for.(Logistically- the training was tough!). Once on the actual event the daily briefings and en-route support and logistics were excellent with a superb crew (including medic) ensuring all we had to do was focus on ourselves, and making progress.Contingency and emergency plans and procedures were clearly explained, so as a ‘newbie’ to this sort of event I was really reassured that I was safe. I hugely enjoyed the whole experience and would have no hesitation in recommending this company, and this event in particular.
I've completed many RR events over the years and cannot praise these guys highly enough. The effort they go to to make sure all competitors are looked after and supported is second to none. The logistics themselves must be mind boggling. We were met at the airport, transported to our first hotel and given a full briefing about what was ahead. All the accommodation was of the highest standard and so too was the food. Things rarely run smoothly with events like these and this one was no exception. The RR team dealt with whatever came their way with calmness, professionalism and empathy. There was an reassuringly positive camaraderie within the group from the off. A welcome feeling that RR pride themselves on and is the ethos of all events I've attended. On this occasion the Croatia Multisport even is Highly recommended. We've already booked our next adventure.
I've done several Rat Race test pilots and events and all have been fantastic. My latest adventure was the Panama Coast to Coast, which is the toughest one they run. It was brutal but made achievable by the incredible support and guidance the team provided - in helping us prepare beforehand as well as on the ground during the event. I think we got value for our money (organisation, non jungle accommodation and food were excellent) and we met some truly inspirational people. It was an unforgettable experience and doable if you are prepared to put in the hours for pre trip admin and training.
