I purchased the Oxyrevo Apex36 1.5 ATA in June 2025 including a separate conditioning unit. Once the conditioning arrived 3 weeks late, I decided I no longer needed it. Recovery for Athletes does not accept returns so I had to eat the cost. If I had to do it again, I would definitely order from Morelli Medical who accepts returns. This is too expensive of a purchase to not be able to accept returns especially for items that have not been opened/used.
In December 2025, my chamber broke. Whenever it started to pressurize, the faulty zipper would blow open and the chamber would depressurize. It was still under warranty so I was able to get a new chamber; however, they are a pain to put together/take apart so it was definitely a nuisance.
If I had to do it over again, I would not get an Oxyrevo or order from Recovery for Athletes.
My husband purchased a Hyperice Normatec 3 recovery system from Recovery for Athletes on July 5, 2025 (Order RFA64159) as a gift because it was on sale. I had back surgery on November 4, 2025, and I was medically restricted from using recovery/therapy devices before surgery and during recovery, so the package remained unopened. On February 7, 2026, I opened the factory-sealed packaging for the first time after emailing Recovery for Athletes to request registration information so I could register the purchase and begin using it safely. When I opened the boxes, I discovered the shipment was incomplete. What I received: • Leg attachments (2) • Arm attachments (2) • Hip attachment (1) • HoseMissing essential items (required for the system to function): • Normatec 3 control unit (the main device/pump) • Power supply/chargerWithout the control unit and charger, the system is completely unusable.I contacted Recovery for Athletes immediately and provided photos of the boxes and everything included. Their response was that the control unit “should have been inside the box,” and they directed me to contact Hyperice. I followed their instructions and contacted Hyperice support. Hyperice responded in writing that because the purchase was made through a retailer (not directly through Hyperice.com), the retailer is responsible for resolving missing components, and they directed me back to Recovery for Athletes.I returned to Recovery for Athletes with Hyperice’s written response and again requested a reasonable solution: either ship the missing control unit + power supply (so the product is usable) or authorize a return with a full refund since the system cannot function as delivered. Recovery for Athletes ultimately stated they were unable to assist further.Bottom line: I paid for a complete recovery system but received attachments only, and after providing documentation and following every step requested, I was left without a working product or a resolution.
The customer service guy was a complete ass. I called in the morning to ask them about the missing tablet $200 that wasn't packaged in my order and he constantly tried to talk over me. I spent over $2000 on the basic Versaclimber home version. Do NOT buy it if you like to workout hard. It is a HUGE disappointment. I have other home equipment that cost half as much as this and is a much better product. This thing is spring loaded with little resistance. I have bought other products from these guys. They are more like a broker. It takes several months to ship from manufacturer.
I’m a 26 year old dude and never write reviews. But this company really left a bad taste in my mouth. I bought the Garmin Fenix 7 at a great price of $450. Few hours later I get a text with the following “ Hi,Thank you for your order! We would like to inform you that there was a pricing error on our website for this watch. The price for the Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Solar Smartwatch - Slate Gray w/ Black Band (SKU: 010-02778-00) is $899.99We can offer the watch to you with a discounted price of $799.99.Please let us know if you'd like to pay the difference and we can get the watch shipped out right away.We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.” I call them up because it seems like a classic bait and switch scam where they have no problem taking my money for a low price of an item and then they tell you sorry it’s actually significantly more. They then tell me they have watches in stock but not at that price. My fear of the old bait and switch was true. They could offer me the watch at near the full price. A bunch of websites have this deal going on, one being Walmart but wanted to support a smaller business. I knew I should have listened to some of the Reddit posts about this website. Spoke with the manager on the phone and he really just said it was a mistake and unfortunately it just negatively impacts me. The manager said that he can’t take that big of a hit for that price difference even though I already paid it and got a confirmation email saying the order has been confirmed. The ceo of the company is supposed to call me at some point but my doubts are high for that happening
Extremely Disappointing Customer Service!!!I ordered an MSpa Meteor from Recovery For Athletes early in the morning on December 20. At the time of purchase, the website clearly stated 3–5 business day shipping. It is now January 1st, and my order status has not changed at all—no shipment, no updates, nothing. What’s even more frustrating is that I wasn’t able to reach anyone until several days later, only to be told the company was closed on the 24th, 25th, and 26th. That may be understandable for the holidays, but there was no notice on their website explaining delays or closures. For a company that claims to be “big on customer service,” this experience has been the complete opposite. The lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable. At this point, I’m strongly considering canceling my order altogether and taking my business elsewhere. I would not recommend ordering from this company unless you’re prepared for delays and poor communication.
It took 30 days to receive a Garmin watch I ordered last month, while the website listed an expected shipping date of 5-7 business days. The representative I spoke to eventually said the store did not have the watch but expected to receive it from Garmin within a month. A week or so after I ordered the watch the website was updated to reflect the delayed shipping plan. Buyer beware...I won't be dealing with this company again. Two stars for quick response to emails, as human responsiveness was the only positive to note.

Items Mislabeled As "In-Stock" - even though they know it's not. Tried buying a sauna from here, did research on different websites to order from. The page specifically says "FREE & FAST Shipping: In Stock and Ready to Ship" and when I made the order, I got an email saying the order likely wouldn't ship for another 2 months. Extremely misleading and predatory to say "In Stock" when they know it's not.
