Very unfair interviewing process, felt a little discriminating. I'm going to post this on other social media platforms to make people aware of how Reed conducts unfair interviewing process and are discriminative. I'm not going to remove this post because it's my point of view and will give another person who experiences these types of interviews some awareness.
I have been going to see Bobbi at Restart in Cambridge Regional college for the last 3 months and my experience couldn't be any better!! So polite, respectful and encouraging. Doing everything possible to help me in my situation. I am so appreciative of all Bobbis' efforts and she is extremely competent and good at her job! All the other people in the office are friendly too........Dave McLoughlin
⭐ Very poor experience – little to no real supportMy experience with Reed in Partnership has been extremely disappointing. I am self-employed and running my own business, so I joined Reed to gain additional support to help me grow. Unfortunately, instead of progress, I’ve been met with frustration and wasted time. From the start, I’ve been passed from person to person, forced to keep explaining my situation over and over again. There has been no continuity of support, and it feels like no one takes proper ownership of my case.Specific problems I’ve faced include:• Being made to attend a course that was completely irrelevant to me, as it was designed for jobseekers. I am not looking for a job – I am trying to grow my business.• DBS appointments that were cancelled or poorly managed. On one occasion, I waited 40 minutes in the office only to be told it wasn’t happening.• Promises of support (such as business cards, branded clothing, website/social media help, admin assistance, and even a clothing voucher) that never materialised.• Travel expenses that have not been reimbursed, which is frustrating and unfair given how careful I am with money.• Appointments not always arranged at times that suit my responsibilities, despite me clearly explaining my availability.Reed is supposed to help overcome barriers and provide meaningful, practical support. Instead, I feel like my time has been wasted and my business has not benefitted at all. What I need is consistent, tailored help to move forward – not to be treated like a number in a system.Overall, I do not feel Reed has provided the support they claim to offer.📅 Originally posted: 15 September 2025 and again last week and again today. Reed keeps removing bad reviews. Very unfair (Unprompted review)
The team supported me with a DBS check to start the employment with schools. I also find out that the cv training was really helpful with lots of important. I'm also thankful for the financial support. I have received couple of vouchers to buy some clothing and shoes for work. Thank you Reed!
Staff are all friendly and go extra mile to help people in anyway they can. Your not forced into courses are anything you don't want to do. I loved my experience with my job advisor Katie 😊. She went to great lengths to make sure I got back into employment. Thank you all staff at Reed😊
My employment coach, Ali in Newcastle, was great at restoring my confidence and helping me get my life back on track after a bout of unemployment. He helped me get travel expenses for my first few weeks of a new job, offered me any support that was necessary and reassured me that I'd find a job, of which I had previously lost a lot of faith in. So, not just the fact he had helped me with CV and some practical advice, his emotional assistance was vital and it felt like I was talking to a person that fully understood my position. Thank you Reed and Ali!
