UPDATE 250713:I was contacted by the CEO and founder, who apologized for the issue and pledged to get a fix in a few days. He seemed to understand the issue, and understand why it was a problem. After receiving his email I was contacted by an account rep who basically made sure I understood what the CEO had said and the timeline, she was very polite and professional, although she seemed very keen on me changing this review.After a few days, I was contacted by email from the CEO and by phone from the account rep. She walked me through changing the newly created setting allowing for disabling their new feature. While I can not say for sure just yet, it appears to be working. She then called back asking about me changing the review, again. I appreciate the assistance, and particularly the fact that the CEO himself reached out. I am impressed and can only hope that this stresses to them that when implementing changes that affect the way people do business, making it automatic, unannounced, and without any way to go back, might really hurt the small businesses they are purporting to be serving. They have to understand that their software is supposed to be a tool for me to use to run my business, not something I need to change my business to work around. And certainly not something I need to spend hours and hours of my time trying to fix something that they broke.I am amending my review to a 4-star up from a 2-star because they did fix the issue, and for the most part, the software works well and support is good. If they want 5-stars, they need to stop blowing things up that requires I take time away from my family to try and get fixed.ORIGINAL 2-STAR REVIEW:It isn't bad software, and the support can sometimes be OK, the problem is they like to completely change the way things work and expect you to read some obscure change log instead of just conducting business. This has happened repeatedly, and they seem to not care that I have to take time away from running my business to get support for something they broke, again. New features can be nice, but give someone the OPTION. Above all, get out of the way and let your customers run their business!The latest is when you send an invoice via email, if it is past the due date, the link expires, so the customer can no longer pay you. To fix it, you have to change the due date and resend the invoice. So if you send a "due on receipt" on Friday afternoon, they open it and say "OK, I'll pay that Monday", then when they try it tells them the link is expired, and they can't make a payment. How insane is that? To make matters worse, my account rep told me she could fix this in a couple of days, just give her time. I said OK. The next thing I hear is that they are not going to fix it and don't want to talk to me about it. They get 2 stars because when they leave it alone and aren't breaking things, it is a pretty good system. Sorry, but I have much better things to do than spend hours of my time every few months trying to get something fixed they broke. Especially when they tell me they will fix it and then turn right around and say they won't.
