I bought a record player that stopped working within two weeks. The motor failed, and I was promised a full refund. It's been over a month, and I still haven't received it. I've reached out to customer service multiple times, but there has been no response.
Bought the SY101 record player it didn’t last two weeks. The motor stopped working. I was told I would be getting a full refund, it has been over a month since and I still have not gotten my refund. I have contacted customer service several times and no one has responded.
I ordered a record player stand. I had travel plans and timed this so that it would arrive before I left. I started to attempt watching for tracking information, which they claimed would be available. When I could not find any, and they wouldn't respond to my communication, I attempted to cancel. They would not answer emails, the chat or text system on their website, or answer the phone that was listed, on their website. Zero communication. They required I install the Shopify App on my phone for updates. No updates. Zero. Ultimately, the product arrived on the day they said it would, but I had no information. It just showed up. I had changed my travel plans, since I didn't want it sitting outside. Will not do business again with this company.Lastly, they had good reviews on their website. I wrote one there, but it never appeared. As of today, the website is down. Shady to say the least.
Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Their advertised 3 year warranty means nothing when their service agents are uneducated on their own products. Needed a control board replaced as mine had failed. After sending me a picture of the wrong control board I sent them a picture of the correct one only to be told it was not available. That was the end of their willingness I honor their warranty. Out $159 for a useless brick that won't even power up.
I purchased the clear, all acrylic turntable. Once arrived, I found the tonearm to be very flimsy and the bluetooth connection did not work. Since the company's website stated a guaranteed refund within 60 days, I requested the refund. I am getting a constant run around, emails are returned only 12 hours later, seems from overseas. It really looks like a scam. Despite stated US address in California, I could't find their information on California register for California companies.
Ordered an item and was sent the wrong one. I also realized the company is shady as hell after requesting a refund to return back my item and the emails I got in return are clearly written by people in China (the website falsely claims they are based in the U.S.). The record player I was wrongly sent was also terrible quality. All around a sketchy company DO NOT TRUST THEM. Still in the process of trying to get a refund but they keep making sketchy counter offers (such as sending me a half refund but letting me keep the wrong order). STAY AWAY!!!
I would not recommend retrolifeplayer.com I purchased a “Modern Bluetooth In&Out Record Player HiFi System with Dual 20W Speakers UD006” from their website for my daughter for Christmas 2024 and the player was defective. It was out of tune and we could not get it tuned with the options it provided. We took it to our local record store and the owner confirmed it was defective. I emailed support@ retrolifeplayer.com and business@ retrolifeplayer.com from December -April to get it exchanged or a refund and no one has responded to my emails. I even tried their chat box and no response. I looked up their number and the only number that I found was on a FB page and it was incorrect. There is no number on their website for customer support. I would not buy from this company.
