Review Time
After 8 months of throwing away spoiled seed, cleaning and refilling my feeder I’m at the point of giving up. The birds just won’t use this feeder. I have another squirrel proof feeder that cost a fraction of the price and the birds empty that one rapidly whilst ignoring the Roamwild feeder. I’ve followed ALL the instructions to no avail. Don’t even get me started on how difficult it is to clean! You need a degree in engineering to take it apart and reassemble. My advice is to save your money and your time.
So for a feeder with the cage accessory it works out £50, which wouldn’t be too bad if it was as wonderful as advertised. However expect to have to replace them annually as they go rusty! Wish I could attach a picture of mine! Rust can kill birds if ingested.
Very reasonable price (but beware the extra for the postage) for a high quality product Getting the clips for access to fill was a challenge as it was made from the same high quality plastic and we were wary of breaking it .. but managed with a knife blade to ease it out and filled and re clipped well
A prompt and helpful reply to my query ( for a spare part for a squirrel proof feeder) and the part arrived promptly. It was dearer than expected for the amount of material, but I guess I’ve saved that money in sunflower hearts which now are only accessible to their intended diners. I was happy to find that the spare part existed.
