Absolute garbage! 🚮💔
I've booked a redelivery twice already for my parcel with no updates whatsoever. I've been trying to contact them multiple times but everything is just automated. There's no human service. I also didn't even receive a "something for you" card and you can't collect without that card. Now I don't know how I'm going to get my parcel. Very unprofessional and of no help at all. They need to be sued.
I am extremely disappointed with the service from Royal Mail Southend on Sea.
My package was incorrectly redelivered to the wrong delivery office, which is already frustrating and inconvenient. When I went to collect it from the Southend Short Street office today, I arrived at 12:14pm, only to be told that the office “only works until 12pm” and that staff need to go home — so I was refused collection.
I was then told to come back on Monday. Unfortunately, I work on Mondays, so this is not a reasonable solution for me. I don’t understand why I should have to rearrange my schedule and make another trip when this situation was caused by Royal Mail’s error in the first place.
Overall, this experience has been very inconvenient, poorly handled, and lacks basic customer consideration.

Since "merging" with parcel force i have lost my account manager, so finding anything out is impossible, nobody wants to help and just give you different numbers to call, and sometimes, those numbers send you right back to the agents you just spoke to!!!! They never sent me a price list for click and drop services, first invoice arrives and they are charging me £4.80 for 2nd class signed for SMALL PARCEL - THATS MORE THAN THE POST OFFICE - and we are a business sending out 100 small parcels per week. My direct debit was not transferred during migration so after first invoice came and wasn't automatically paid my account was suspended, It took 10 days and over 15 phone calls to get the account reactivated, I had to send 4 DD mandates to different links, and after the last one finally worked, it still didnt unlock my account, i had to ring someone else who then simply pressed "unlock" on their end....Why is this not automated?! Now, we are trying to use the OBA services, and when we click on ACCESS YOUR OBA the link never loads, so we cannot see our past invoices, due to a website BUG on RM system. Most staff ive spoken to have been nice, but frustrated with their own system, which seems massively overcomplicated for business customers who have come from Parcelforce especially. Absolutely rubbish and a massive waste of our time. Unfortunately we don't have an alternative to RM as their delivery service is generally very good, but the service we are getting as migrated business customer is a joke. Hire more staff, give all business customers an account manager and don't scam me by not telling me a price list and then charging me £1.50 more than people using your public site, which is what we have had to use for the past 2 weeks. Joke.
I was waiting this time after they lied about attempting to deliver two parcels in the last two weeks. As usual this one was late by a day. I watched the van pull up outside my window at 19:06. He didn't even get out and then the tracking was updated to "property inaccessible". I'd never choose delivery by Royal Mail these days. They are worse than Evri, at least they deliver on the scheduled date. Nothing but trouble from Royal Mail.
Royal Mail misplaced an important letter, and given the ongoing delivery issues in my area, I’m extremely concerned. With postage costs now so high, I no longer have any trust or confidence in this company to handle and deliver my mail safely or on time.
Redirecting service is absolutely broken. I did a redirection from my house which is rented out, last August for myself & my partner. For 3 months my Mail continued to go to my house, I contacted the customer services & apparently they sorted it. I wasn’t getting any mail to my redirection address so I started sending test mail to myself, so far I have sent 8 test letters to myself & have only received 1. I have spoken to customer services 3 times now & all they keep saying is they have spoken to the manager at the office where my original address is. I have not any other mail since October 2025 apart from the one test letter. The last call I made to the customer services I was told someone would call me, I have had no call!
It is not normal to receive NO POST in over 6 months
Royal Scam strikes again. This time someone sent me a parcel via 24 tracked delivery, and 8 days later, it is still at the mail center 50 miles away and not even out for delivery. Absolute useless clowns.
Updated: Raised a complaint and my ring was delivered today despite the app saying it had been picked up by someone else.
Sent my wedding ring ro be repaired. Company have repaired it and posted it via royal mail tracked service. I checked with royal mail app and they said that it was collected from the delivery office by a someone that doesn't live in our building. So does this mean royal mail have tried to deliver to wrong address and left a card there? No clue but my wedding ring is now gone and I've had to raise a complaint. Absolutely gutted and can't believe this. So angry.
In the past week and a half, I’ve had an absolutely awful experience with Royal Mail. I ordered three items from eBay—one of which was a £180 laptop, purchased with secure tracking. This laptop, which I urgently needed for work after my old one broke, completely vanished after Royal Mail collected it from the seller. No updates, no delivery, no idea where it is. The seller is just as baffled.
On top of that, I ordered some smaller items—cables and other things—and guess what? No tracking updates, no deliveries. Three separate items, all lost in Royal Mail’s black hole. I tried calling their customer service—over 50-minute wait just to speak to someone. How is this acceptable?
Frankly, I’m scared to order anything that ships with Royal Mail again. They’ve gone downhill—how can they lose items so easily and leave us without answers? I’m done trusting them. If you value your items and sanity—avoid Royal Mail. They’re finished.
There should be A zero NOT a star absolutely pathetic service, kept me waiting for the last two days, saying parcel is being delivered by 5pm and after the end of day get only a Delivered message with ZERO evidence provided nor a card left if parcel is left with someone else. Boycott this service, won't be long before it goes bankrupt 💯💯
