The purchase order process apparently has been changed/improved. I had no idea that if I chose PayPal/Credit card I would not be billed immediately for a purchase (my previous experience); the system is now letting me place an order but wait for payment until the shop owner has adjusted the shipping charges.
It is a pleasure searching through the database. In particular, I appreciate the ability to search in a variety of ways - vendor, price, item category, etc. As well, thank you for allowing the use of PayPal. I found Ruby Lane two years ago, and have ordered everything from earrings to a magazine rack.

The bracelet arrived securely and in the same condition as described. The hooked rug which I purchased through your website did not meet my expectations. Bonnie Boswell Antiques altered the colors of the pictures used to advertise the rug. The contrast was pushed to give the rug an almost black frame in the pictures. The actual rug has a mid-tone brown frame. The background of the motif looks cream/white in the ad pictures used, but the actual rug has a tan background. Bonnie Boswell should not alter the colors and contrast of what she is selling. Good points of the transaction: the rug is in good condition and it arrived promptly.
Ruby Lane got back with me IMMEDIATELY to make the "payment" step very simple. Placed my order on tuesday with the regular shipping and received my order on friday...couldn't be any faster! At first I thought the shipping fee was a little high but it arrived so quickly and was packed the way I would have packed it myself I was extremely happy. Thank you, Ruby Lane!
All the dealers I have dealt with have been quick to send my orders...well packed for safe shipping. All did their best to regulate shipping costs if I thought those listed were too high. Fast to give me a refund if the shipping turned out lower then I agreed to. I love Ruby Lane and will continue to shop here!
