i'd purchased from this seller on another site - a fantastic seller, b.t.w. - and she transferred an item to ruby lane so i could put on layaway. possibly because i use a phone only (no access to laptop, etc.) there was trouble with layaway. looked on google but things it said to click didn't show on my phone. emailed rl about jt and although totally different from google's directions it was the same there. rl also let me know layaway was between buyer and seller and they don't get involved (even though i'd already said we'd agreed) so that was worse than uselwss. ended up saying i would pay by check and in msg said layaway. it charged me the entire amount. i emailed seller to see about mailibg 4 checks.on 09/12 i received a reply from seller and we agreed to 4 payments although i'd been charged the entire amount by rl. on 09/13 i received a reply from rl that didn't tell me anything i didn't tell me anything i didn't already know and still gave me absolutely no info on how to do layaways in the future. NOT a good 1st experience, but if i purchase something outright i may have better luck. willing to maybe give it another try at some point, but so far not impressed.
