I ordered the Asia and Oceania plan from Saily.
Everything was working fine in Hong Kong and China. And then I lost network coverage whilst I was in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
For the three days I was in Taiwan, I contacted Saily every day to see if they could resolve the issue, but they couldn't.
Every day I had to go through the rigmarole of explaining the issue to an AI-bot/Live Agent.
All they could offer was the same steps every time:
1."Have you turned off your mobile and turn it back on?"
2."Have you set the APN correctly?"
3."Have you check the Network Carriers?"
4. And everything else which was suggested to me.
I'm not exaggerating, I must have gone through the above steps a dozen times.

The worst thing was that I had a hospital appointment I had to attend. With no internet (mobile data), I couldn't access my medical files on the App.

I had to order another eSim from another provider (£17).

All that Saily could say was, "We're sorry for the inconvenience" and offered me $5. What an insult?!

Totally unacceptable. Wasted three days of my trip and I was £17 (for the replacement eSim) and $16 (for the original eSim) out of pocket.

If you're planning on buying an eSim from Saily, please take it with a pinch of salt and pray you don't fall foul of what I went through.

Verry easy to find package, price comparison (was 1/4 of the price from other offers). Installed including a new esim, with tree clicks within 1 Minuit, without changing to setting etc. Only need, deactivate my old esim and activate the saily esim when I start using it and alow the data roaming.

Saily support staff were very helpful. I had to troubleshoot both my phone and another. The human staff were patient and courteous. Even the bot was helpful.
Both problems solved so we can get on with our travels

The clarity of the instructions and the ease of downloading the eSIM at a reasonable price makes Saily our first choice for all our future travels, especially when compared to an alternative company that we've used before that made the steps all so complicated and expensive.

————————————————————————
Using Saily eSIMs in China can be quite unreliable. The signal often drops in indoor public spaces, and the connection speed can be very slow. This makes it difficult to use essential daily services like bike-sharing apps, public transport (metro/bus), and mobile payments.
For a better experience, I recommend the following:
• Local SIM Card: This is the most reliable way to ensure a stable connection everywhere.
• Roaming with Major Carriers: Use a plan from a major international provider that has solid roaming agreements with Chinese networks

Want to give them a minus 5 star rating. Switched from airalo to saily and was pleasd with connectivity in the 8 Asia countries i travel to for business for the first 4 months then suddenly unable to get any connection upon arriving in Kuala lumpur. Spent 30 mins with their online bot trouble shooting then a live agent. 1.5 hrs later still no connection and the result was being met with a should shrug. Asked for refund and basically was told I already used 70% of my plan in prior travel in the PH and Indonesia so no refund in any amount. This service is the worst. Stay away from Saily. Back to Airalo I go.

This is the first E Sim I have bought. The process to buy was very slick and installation was automatic via Google. I will be using it on a Mediterranean cruise this month so will review in detail on my return regards.

Completely unreliable – Do not trust this at the airport or in remote areas.
"I am beyond frustrated with Saily. While it worked for me in Thailand previously, my last two trips have been a disaster. I spent three hours at the airport—exhausted and just trying to get a taxi—fighting with this eSIM, and it simply would not work.
The biggest issue is a total 'Catch-22': you need a stable internet connection to troubleshoot or activate the service, but if the eSIM isn't working, you're stuck. It doesn’t matter if you spend hours on it—if it doesn’t want to connect, it won’t.
Things got even more confusing at a mountain resort. My phone showed a 5G signal, but nothing would load. I kept trying and trying to get a connection, only to find out later that all my data credits had been 'used up' even though I never actually got online!
When I asked for a refund for this failed service, they only offered 'Saily credits.' Why would I want credits for a service that leaves me stranded and drains my balance while failing to provide a connection? This is way more difficult than they claim. Save yourself the trauma and get a local SIM instead."

Choosing the Right eSim: My Experience with a Great Option

After researching various eSim options, I chose this service for three key reasons: user-friendly interface, dependable support, and attractive pricing. The installation process for my eSim was seamless. I opted for the regional eSim and appreciate the referral credit system.
