Review Time
So my first experience with SAUR was a bill for 5,417 Euros for water usage for the year of 2024.They did not 1) recognize that I had paid 75 Euros a month the entire time, 2) a 60 Euro credit that they took and did not record.I have tried to contact them 6 times by phone - no answer, then 8 emails- no response.And all they do is to give me to a duning agency.This is a nightmare.Do we have a choice?The choice was to contact my local mayor in the village and SAUR responded within 6 hours.All is resolved now.
They have sent a bill for 833 euros which includes the over 400 euros which I already paid in June. I have sent a copy of my bank statement showing this payment went through my account in June but so far have not received any acknowledgement. No doubt they will send a red bill when they receive no payment. How does one deal with a company which totally ignores customers?!!!
Overcharged us 750€, then miraculously found a plumbing service that would fix a non existent leak for 1000€ within 2 HOURS!!! Now I'm trying to login to pay my bill, system doesn't recognize me, try to reset my password, link never arrives. They got all bent out of shape when we switched from haveing direct debit to paying bimonthly. Ever since it's been absolute rubbish.
SAUR are very difficult company to deal with, their customer service is slow to respond to any quiries regarding payments or bills. When asking for payments to be made they offer no up to date solutions, help or advice all they do is ignore you and send debit collector emails who look like fraud.
So, I was asked to contact Saur to arrange a rdv to read the compteur by some English friends who have a holiday home here in France. The customer sevice lady gave me a date and a time between 13.30 and 17.00, I asked if I could leave my mobile number so that the technicien could give me a 30 minute warning so that I didnt have to stay all afternoon, the lady said no and that the technicien wouldn't call me anyway. I suggested that I didnt want to wait all afternoon and the lady said that if I didnt like it, the only solution was for me to tell her to cancel the rdv. What a service!? Even EDF will call!
