After discovering that Scam Detector has incorrectly associated my firm's website with complaints attributable to another company which has a similar business name and offers different services, I followed the instructions to notify Scam Detector about proof of discrepancy with rating. Within one hour I received an email notifying me that the Consumer Care team had validated my proof and the correction had been made.
How can you give 0 stars? This website is obviously illegitimate. The positive reviews are 100% fake. They removed my review from their website. The criteria that they use to create their reports, are not based on any personal experience with a particular company. They merely say that a website is illegitimate based on similar sites, and lack of information. There are legitimate security issues with leaving personal or business information on the web, but this website uses that to give a website a low rating score, then they contact the business asking for money to get this information removed. Scam-Detector investigates their own crimes, and finds themselves not guilty. Report this company to the FTC as soon as possible.
