SEALIGHT LED H11, Bought through Amazon Prime. It started comes with a positive one-year warranty! Ordered ( 113-5829563-5881822)July 20,2024, Paid $49.23, w/o taxes $55+total for LED XF3 SEALIGHT H11, H8, H16, CALLED THE SEALIGHT 1-626-699-3998. ON JULY 03, 2025JULY 08,2025.THEY PROMISED TO TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUES AND SEND CONFIRMATION EMAIL , NOT A THING TO ASSIST WITH THE WARRANTY. BUT ASKING FOR SNAPSHOTS PICTURES OF THE BURNOUT LED LIGHT BULB. NEGATIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE, FULL ON RUNNING AROUNDS. FOR THE ONE-YEAR WARRANTY. AND NOT HAVING A HONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, IS BAD FOR BUSINESS AND NOT HAVING THRUST IN SEALIGHT COMPANY. UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER SERVICE
Terrible experience with this company! Garbage lights that don’t fit! Contacted customer service total waste of time. Via email they offered 15% off the light bulbs and give to family or friends? What a joke I just want my money back. I was then told to send back to an address in Markham Ontario. I decided to take them myself the place was an unnamed warehouse where a guy came through a locked door stating we have a contract with them and do not take stuff back personally? Whatever that means. He told me I have to get a return label from the company then send it to this same warehouse? I sent another email to the company stating stop playing games give me the return label and I will send back. I also stated I don’t know what kind of company this is? Disgusting customer service on all levels. You state 90 day return I sent pictures of boxes intact to no avail. Do not ever deal with this company the worst I’ve ever dealt with!
Faulty product, which they will not stand behind. Headlight bulbs burned out in just nine weeks. Sealight does not even care, no help at all. REPLY TO REPLY BELOW: I have been through Sealight CS already. I wrote this review AFTER I was NOT properly assisted, by them. Which I thought was made clear enough by the "would not stand behind" and "no help at all" remarks.BOTTOM LINE, FOR OTHERS: Do not expect any reasonable customer service from Sealight for a defective product made by Sealight. You will not get that. All you will get is an offer for another one of the same (defective product). Who can wait around for any of this when, we are talking about car headlights? Defective headlights cause a risk of car accidents and a risk for traffic citations too. Sealight appears totally oblivious to all of this. Someday Sealight's defective headlight bulbs will end up killing someone.
These are a junk Chinese product! If you want something that works, look elsewhere.... and don't be looking for the lowest price or you'll just get more Chinese garbage. My experience: Low beams are high beams. Activate the hign beam selector and high beam selection are the low beams, but one light is very noticably brighter than the other and I get oncoming drivers, and truckers, flashing their high beams at me. I messed with the clocking position of the bulbs for a few days, but the problem remained, just the light pattern somewhat changed. I contacted Sealight for resolution and they sent me a corrective decoder harness to cure this "known issue." I installed the corrective harness and the result is the driver's side light is on low and the passenger side beam is on high. Activate the bright light switch, and you guessed it, the driver's side light switches to high beam and the passenger side switches to low beam. I changed the decoder harnesses from side to side, no change. I switched lights from side to side, same issue, just different sides. Obviously the wiring in the lights is incorrect; at least one of them. While troubleshooting and working with Sealight over the course of a weeks, I did go beyond the 30-days exchange period, so I cannot return them. I had Cougar Motor Ultimate LED lights in these reflector housings before and they worked great! At least for 366 when they fell out of their 1-yr warranty and failed in a matter of weeks. After the second set of Cougar lights failed I switched to the Sealight product. I did have one known good Cougar light and placed it in each of the housings and it worked fine. I removed all of the Sealight parts and reinstalled my old halogen lights, and they worked perfect. Just too dim for both the reflector housings and my aging eyes.So I have confirmed that there is no issue with my Ford Factory wiring harnesses or my truck's ECM/ computer(s) not properly reading LED lights. And I knew that before the customer service person at Sealight suggested that my "not that old" 2006 Ford Super Duty truck, that has spent it's life in southern California where there is no weather condition that would adversely impact any wiring harness, nor do I have a rodent infestation under my hood. Bottom line: Junk product.
Absolutely terrible experience, product and customer service wise. Sealight GAURANTEES exact fit when inputting vehicle make, model, trim, vin. To my surprise, headlights did not fit. I wrote them to receive my refund as product was not used because the input on the bulb was a complete different shape and size from the socket. I was asked to provide photo or video of item to ensure no damage to product - I did this. I was then told because I opened the product it was non refundable. Convenient of them to leverage that BS after asking for photo or video of product for damages. I just called my bank and put in a claim and provided the email thread of my conversation with Sealight. These guys are BOILER ROOM salesman, with TERRIBLE customer service. I advice to keep far away if you care to save yourself a headache!
Ordered LED headlights for my truck. I ensured to put the make, model, trim, and everything that is needed to verify the fitment. They came in the mail and they didn’t fit. One of them didn’t have the right bracket/threading whatsoever, and the other ones fit into the correct spot, but were too lose and fell out immediately. I called customer service to ask for a refund/return and the man said he would send me an email. Nine hours later I got the email, which they asked for a bunch of vehicle information, to which I provided. They offered me $25 to keep them lol. They insisted that “Return is such a headache for you.” They seemed like they really don’t want me to return the item, even though they sent me lights that didn’t even fit my vehicle… so now I have to pay for shipping on the return, provide them the tracking number, and wait who knows how long to maybe get my money back. Crazy that a fairly large company seems like it is ran out of a guy’s basement. Very disappointed and would not recommend buying anything from them.
