Am an interior designer and have used Select Blinds for 10 years. Will never use them again!
Manufacturing has changed to Vietnam which means longer delivery times.
Customer service is extremely difficult to reach - by phone, text or email - when you do reach them, the person barely speaks English (heavily accented)
Waited 6 weeks to receive a motorized blind - motor stopped working one month after install. Dealt with customer service for 2 months after this and went through hoops to change batteries, verify chargers, etc. Finally agreed to replace the blind (not fix the motor) 4 months after ordering. By then I had ordered and received a new blind within 2 weeks of ordering from 3 day blinds. Select blinds refused to refund me for the broken blind.
As an interior designer - I will never place an order with Select Blinds EVER again. Switching my business to 3 day blinds.

We were not able to get the automation bridges ordered to connect to either Google home or Smart things. The website indicated they would connect. We tried to return them but were denied. We needed to send a picture or video. How would one send a picture or video of connections that don't happen?

Misleading Pricing Experience

I contacted the service to order a blind for $141.74. After discussing my window measurements with a representative, I was quoted a price of $35, which seemed fair. I scheduled an estimate appointment, but when they called to confirm, the estimate was suddenly $600. I ended the call feeling frustrated. This feels like a scam.

The track for my drapes arrived damaged and I’m still waiting for a resolution.

The track intended for my drapes arrived bent and unusable. It’s been over a week since I reached out to the support team, and I still haven’t received any confirmation regarding a replacement. I did manage to hang the other shade I purchased, which was straightforward and of good quality.

Disappointed with the Service and Product

I have placed several orders recently with the company, and for over a year, I've relied on a member of their design team who has been quite helpful. Last Fall, I purchased exterior solar shades to enjoy watching television in my living room during bright sunlight. Unfortunately, these shades are creating an astonishing kaleidoscope effect in my space. I’ve attached photos for reference. After numerous lengthy conversations with their customer service, all I received was a text stating that this issue isn’t their concern. Yesterday, they essentially told me not to reach out again and outlined problems that they claimed were my responsibility for selecting the wrong shade. They mentioned that the moiré effect could arise from various factors and assured me that the visual waves weren’t due to a manufacturing defect. None of their assumptions are accurate. I don’t have tinted windows; the shade is against UV-protective glass. The real issue is that these shades are incompatible with window screens. Then they informed me: “we have all the information on the product page and we will add more points as needed.” Looking at the product details, I see nothing about compatibility with screens, not even in the detailed sections. Sorry, I can't post the photos here, but I'm willing to share.

Excellent support and fantastic product, minor issue with screws

Excellent support and a fantastic product, although the screws included were a bit small for securing the blinds, so we opted for different, sturdier ones. The black top-down bottom-up design is incredible, creating pitch-black bedrooms, and the other blinds we chose for the living and kitchen areas also do a remarkable job of blocking light while looking great.

Issues with motorized blinds and support response

I ordered 5 motorized blinds, but one arrived damaged. Upon contacting the support team, I was instructed to complete a service request form. After 6 days of following up, I received an email indicating they were sending a new 'part'. However, I'm uncertain how this will resolve the issue since the entire blind needs replacement. I have no desire to attempt to fix the damaged blind with a new 'part'. I paid a significant amount for these blinds and expected them to be functional upon arrival. The delays in resolving this matter are also unacceptable.
