The best place to stay for a few weeks as a base from where to explore beautiful Kerry. The house offers the best view ever: Carrauntohil from every window, complemented with lovely Irish cows.Eileen is such a lovely host: very welcoming, giving tips and tricks and always ready to help where she can. Killarney and Killorglin (with King Puck) were lovely places to visit and shop.
This property was very disappointing. On arrival, the walled patio was just a piece of waste ground with a dirty table and chairs, rubbish bins and empty wine bottles that meant we could not 'dine out' as advertised. We found the Coach House to be a drab and dreary place to stay, with a stale smell, dirty windows, and certainly not the 'bijou bolthole' as described on the website. The kitchen had very limited provision and the bathroom was old and required a complete overhaul. We do not think this property was worth the money we paid.
The location was ideal overlooking the beach! Wonderful rock pools to explore for the children but not so easy for swimming unless you’re experienced but that didn’t spoil our fun on the beach! Loads of other beaches within a short drive with lifeguards! Super accommodation and nicely based for exploring Wexford and all its tourist spots!
