I really like the quality of the shoes. they’re very nice. I especially love the ankle clips. I got two pairs accidentally but they add such a great touch to the shoes.
My concern is with the band/strap. On the pairs I received, the strap feels a bit off in quality and is also a bit too big for my ankle. I wish there were more holes so I could adjust it tighter.
Also, as a customer from the United States, it is a bit disappointing that there isn’t a return policy available. I do wish there were an option to return them but I still like the shoes!

Good, clearly high-quality shoes. The sizing isn't quite right. I wear other shoes of the same size, and they fit perfectly. I bought the Shapen Ballerinas, but they don't fit my toes very well. Perhaps the sizing will be the same for other shoe styles. It's recommended to buy the Ballerina model a little larger than your size.
Shapen is easily one of the best barefoot shoes company I have experience with. The sizing on the website is precise and informative, contact with customer support is very quick and helpful, some shoes have two widths and all are very comfortable and well made. I also appreciate the return process, because it is very yeasy and doesn't require shipping abroad in my case.
Gorgeous designs, EU made, so comfy and nice! Packaging is great, all cardboard, very minimalistic,and fast delivery (2-3 days). I'm usually size 38.5-39, bought 39 and it's good fit (not big).As new customer, you should subscribe to emails, then you get welcome discount code.
The promise of "making barefoot shoes more beautiful" failed at the following points:1) poor quality leather. The leather is very, very thin. Usually such leather is used for inner lining, not for the outside of shoes or garments. 2) The loop on the back of the shoe, which always is meant for helping one to put the shoes on, in this case is purely decorative. The Product description doesn't mention it, whereas it does state the decorative zipper is functional. They could have made it clear that the loop is decorative on the Product description instead of specification page.The first time putting the shoe on, the loop broke, because it's so fragile.For the discount price, it was a decent deal. The shipping was extraordinary expensive, but ok.3) I asked the customer support if the shipping cost will be refunded if i return the item. After multiple back and forth emails, they said that if the return claim is approved, they would cover the shipping cost, but didn't state if they would (maybe) cover both shipping costs. If this product was purchased in full amount, I would ship it back, even without the certainty of the refund, however, as i purchased the item with discount, I am not risking to pay the shipping cost.Overall, there is a reason why this product is so cheap -becaue it's of poor quality.
