I am extremely disappointed with Shockbyte. I opened a refund ticket 3 days ago and I am being completely ignored. Even though I paid the bill for a terminated server, there has been zero response from their team. I have been a loyal customer for over 2–3 years, but it seems they don't care about their old users anymore. It feels terrible to be treated this way after years of support. Avoid this hosting if you value your money and time

WARNING: TLR Community scammed for $300 – Total failure and zero support!Review:"On behalf of the TLR Community (LynxRa), I must warn everyone: Stay far away from Shockbyte. We prepaid $300 USD for a 12-month 5GB server, and it has been a nightmare from day one.Here are the facts:Unusable Performance: Despite paying for a 5GB server that should easily handle 12+ players with mods, it crashes and lags with only 2 players online. It is technically impossible to use for a community.Technical Failure (25% Idle Usage): The server hardware is either ancient or extremely oversold. The CPU stays at 25% usage while idle (with zero players online). This leaves no resources for actual gameplay.Zero Flexibility: We initially made a mistake during purchase (Java vs. Bedrock). Shockbyte offered zero assistance or flexibility to fix this simple error. We had to struggle through it ourselves, only to find the hardware is garbage anyway.Non-existent Support: It has been 4 days since we opened a ticket. All we get are automated 'we will get back to you' messages. They refuse to fix the performance and refuse to refund the 12 months we paid for.They take your money and hide their hardware specifications for a reason: because they don't deliver what they promise. This is a total scam. Save your money and find a provider that actually cares about their customers!

Your server save files will be deleted…

Your server save files will be deleted within a short period of time of inactive subscription, while i understand this. It's not reliable per say, in case your backup goes missing, there is no way of retrieval back, i'd say cloud backup for save files only goes a long way.

Scummy business practices

Servers work fine, however they overcharge you unless you manually cancel your subscription on PayPal (which is only mentioned in a small note on the cancellation confirmation email!). On top of this, they charge you 3€ for support tickets to have ”priority”, which is completely unacceptable considering they already overcharge you for a service they no longer provide post-cancellation. Incredibly scummy.

Server time is almost up and never once received assistanceGhosting your clients is not good, do not recommend for a hosting provider if you expect to get any type of assistance, let alone get a refund of any kind.Context:Pre-sale service 10/10, charmed me so I purchased with them, the sales person pretty much told me that they would be able to help me set my server, asked questions of size, seed, etc. I purchase the server and it did not work, I could not load any seed other than the pre selected one they use, support ghosted me, upgraded my server, same issues, same ghosting, the instance that I managed to "work" kicks players every 1-15minutes so pretty much makes it unplayable and it's been days since I opened this ticket and have not had support on a service that I paid for nor the refund request.

Amazing but if don’t own a laptop or pc really hard to use

There services are really good and the prices are amazing but if you don’t own any sort of laptop or pc controlling the server is technically really hard but the rest is amazing the price and the servers it’s self their best thing is there services tho 10/10
