Review Time
After I paid for one form €0.49, within two days my subscription of €49 was taken off me, which I did not approve personally, they claim that I accepted their terms as soon as I registered, this was not clearly visible to me anywhere. I also complained and asked for a refund, which they also did not want to pay me, but to return a measly 20% or €9.80, and they immediately removed me from the subscription and I did not ask for it in the email, so I paid something like €49? I ask for a refund? And the first thing you do is delete me and offer me 20%? So I can no longer use the service I paid for? They are so available when you buy and need something and so exclusive when you ask them for something. I am a foreigner in a new country, and I just needed the form to receive my first salary. I will not go bankrupt because of that €40, but it is about principle and mutual satisfaction, and I only see one direction here. I'm just curious, how do you deal with older people who are not so good with technology?!? It's sad that in the virtual world things work like that.
Billing model via not clear overpriced subscription - cancelled after charged 49 eur and then immediately 9eur for cancellation fee at same day.
Filled EU consumer servise complaint. Bank to initiate charge back.
How it works:
1) They sell you a basic service for around $1.
2) They take your credit card information.
3) After three days, they use your credit card information to sell you a subscription, without your consent, costing around $51.
4) If you don't notice or complain, they keep the money.
5) If you complain and ask for a refund, they start offering reparations, such as 20% refund, 50% refund, 1 month of free access to the site, but never a full refund, as this would invalidate the site's main function: to forcibly take money from people.
The good news is that any internet search will show that the site has no reputation whatsoever and that many people have already fallen victim to this scam. This also makes it easier to dispute the charge with your bank and credit card company, reporting that you were a victim of fraud.
As indicated on the internet, some truly secure websites that sell this type of service and are not scams are: iLovePDF, Smallpdf, Adobe Acrobat Online.
Like other people here I needed a document quickly edited and paid the £0.50 - then recurring payments of £59 a month started coming out of my account. Very very unclear that this will happen. Worst of all I have communication from them - when I go to their website to unsubscribe, my email does not work. I have now sent an email and expect refunds. If not I will be disputing transactions with the bank. A scam site.
I made a purchase of R$6.00 on the website to sign a document online, and to do so, I used my credit card details. Three days later, I received a charge of R$266 on my bill and a welcome email from them to the subscriber board, saying that I had purchased a service package that I did not purchase.
I tried to contact them by email and they offered me a 20% refund initially, and 50% later, which I did not accept, as I want a full refund.
It seems to me a typical case of using card details to make a compulsory subscription purchase
and, if I didn't notice, they would charge me and put me on their subscriber list without my consent.
I have already requested a dispute of the purchase from the bank and am trying to get a refund by contacting the company, which is refusing.
This practice is a scam, and the least they can do is reverse my purchase and refund me.
