Review Time
I placed my order on January 2nd after the holiday rush to avoid delays. The transaction was authorized the same day, and I tried to give the service the benefit of the doubt since it was post-holiday. However, a week went by with no updates on the order page and no confirmation or shipping emails. On day 9, I expressed my disappointment and requested a refund, only to receive an automated response indicating my email hadn’t gone through. After finding the correct support email, I reached out again on January 12th. Instead of an apology or refund, I was sent an email with a tracking number. By January 22nd, I followed up once more to express my frustrations and again requested a refund, but I have not received any confirmation regarding my request. The tracking number only indicates that the delivery status is still processing, with the last update showing that shipment information was received on January 12th. They claim 7-15 days for shipping, but it has been 10 days since the shipping company received the information. I find it odd that I received advertisements from another service selling the same product, and when I checked, my order number and tracking worked there too. This leaves me confused about whether to refer to them as one company or another. It's incredibly unprofessional to have such inconsistencies and unclear communication.
Deceptive practices and frustration. Summary: They promised 2-8 business days for delivery, but it took a month before the shipper even had it. When the package was lost, they refused to refund me despite my having paid for shipping protection. They may have been a reputable company once, but I'm now calling it a scam. I purchased a set of consoles with the assurance of 2-8 business days shipping, only to find out they were shipping from overseas. Living in the central USA, there’s no way they could deliver within that timeframe without expedited shipping.
I wouldn't mind waiting longer, but I don't appreciate being misled. After waiting 10 business days, I reached out to customer support for updates and was told it was on its way and would arrive in 4 days. After 6 days, I followed up again and was told it was 2 days out. When I contacted the listed shipper, they informed me they hadn’t received the package yet, as the company hadn’t handed it over!
Days passed, and I grew increasingly frustrated with the repeated lies about shipping timelines. My emails reflect my mounting concern as I sought solutions. Ultimately, the shipper received the package but then lost it. Despite paying for shipping protection and reaching out to customer support multiple times, I STILL DO NOT HAVE IT!!! It’s now gone from mid-November to early January, and my only hope is that by sharing my experience, they might finally take responsibility for their poor business practices and refund my money.
I ordered 4 handheld consoles on the 25th of November, and they arrived on the 23rd of December. I expected the longer delivery time after reading the reviews. The console is fantastic; I've enjoyed playing Tetris, Super Mario, Kirby, and several other games, which has been a nice trip down memory lane. I've only had it for less than a week, so I'm hopeful it will last a while.
I placed an order around December 16th and opted for expedited shipping, unsure if it would arrive in time after seeing some reviews. However, it arrived on the 23rd, just in time for Christmas! The customer service could benefit from a new contact number, but they did respond to my concerns via email when I was anxious about the delivery due to the negative reviews. If you're considering this, don't hesitate—fantastic product and excellent service! 5 stars!
Shipping may take a while, but it's definitely worth the wait! I bought two of these as a couple's gift for my partner and myself for the holidays, and we haven't stopped enjoying them since we opened the package. I'm truly reliving my childhood! If you're considering these, you should ask yourself two important questions: What color will you choose, and who will be your starters?
I ordered two items on December 4th, with an estimated delivery of around 8 working days. They didn't arrive in time for Christmas. Now, 22 days later, Royal Mail hasn't even received them yet. I haven't received any response to my email inquiry. I'm relieved they weren't at the top of my children's wish list, as this could have been really disappointing.
