Extremely Disappointed with the Fridge Experience

We bought a smart fridge about 6 years ago, and our experience has been very frustrating. During the warranty period, it developed a cooling issue, and the company replaced it after a month. However, the second fridge had the same problem and was also replaced. After the 6-month warranty, the third fridge encountered the same cooling issue within a year, but we were unable to claim warranty. Since then, we have incurred significant repair costs: Rs. 5,000 for the first repair Rs. 25,000 for the second repair The fridge only worked for a short time before failing again. Now, we are dealing with the same cooling issue, and unfortunately, the necessary spare parts are no longer available. This model has resulted in repeated failures, high repair expenses, and ongoing inconvenience. We expected much better durability and support from a well-known brand.

We purchased a Singer Smart Fridge…

We purchased a Singer Smart Fridge (Model: GEO-SM-265-NF) about 6 years ago. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.Within the warranty period, the fridge developed a cooling problem. I bought a remote control for My Singer Air conditioner 21st Nov at Kotta road Borella Spare parts outlet. It has no back light for display panel. Can't operate in the Dark. I have to jump out of the Bed & use room light. What an inconvenience. Bad quality goods. Paid 2750 Rs.

I just purchased a Singer wine cooler…

I just purchased a Singer wine cooler paying almost Rs 80,000/- but thoroughly disappointed with it. One of my friend friends who is using Ignis cooler bought from Abans is very satisfied with Ignis brand. Singer unit is very noisy. No on/off lamp switch. Size is smaller than Ignis. Abans brand is only just Rs 6000/- more. Folks, do-not buy Singer brand. It is a total cheat!!

I have purchased goods previously and when we went there today they were able to identify us on their database. The lady who served us Tharushi was very courteous professional and helpful. Our purchase was a water heater for the shower. We were adivsed of the discount offer and was told of a technician to help with the installation

Dell laptops of poor quality

I'm not recommending to buy laptops from Singer Sri Lanka. Both my laptops were defective at the time of purchase and the second one that they gave me replacing the defective one is also defective. Both had keyboard issues. Eventhough DELL is an international brand warranty is not international. I'm in a big trouble now.

I ordered Starlink through Singher.com…

I ordered Starlink through Singher.com on September 24, and after more than a month, my order is still pending. No delivery, no proper updates. Meanwhile, people who ordered directly from Starlink received their kits within 2 weeks. This third-party site is a waste of time. Don't make the same mistake I did — order directly from Starlink for faster and more reliable service

I'm extremely disappointed with the Haputale Singer customer service; they provided shockingly poor service to us. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, making our experience frustrating and unpleasant. In stark contrast, I recently visited the Diyatalawa Singer outlet, and the staff were excellent - friendly, attentive, and helpful. Please look into this and take necessary steps to improve the service at the Haputale outlet.
