After a delay my designer varifocal transition glasses arrived not from the UAE as expected but from Hong Kong.
Despite them having my full prescription the glasses were incorrect and my distance vision was blurred whereas with my existing glasses it is fine.
I contacted them on the day of receipt for a full refund and after some back and forth emails they agreed to give a refund.
This is where you have to be careful.
They said I had to pay myself to return them which cost me 240 AED (around£50) but then when they issued the credit they deducted a further 90 AED ( around £18) for their own shipping fees.
This is buried away in the small print of their terms and conditions and is very sharp practice. If I just changed my mind it would not have been so much of a problem but when the product is faulty you should get a complete refund.
So basically it has cost me 340 AED or around £70 to receive and return a defective pair of glasses.
Be careful if you use this company or go to a shop where you can refuse to pay if they are incorrect.
The return and exchange process was not transparent. Requirements were introduced only after the issue arose, even though they were not clearly stated during the purchase. I was encouraged to reorder and return items without any assurance of a refund. This experience resulted in a complete loss of trust, and I will not shop with this service again.

Communication is good. However, I ordered frames with free lenses on a special deal. I sent them my current prescription, which is accurate. They responded saying the prescription is too old. I explained I'm currently wearing glasses with that same prescription and just need a spare set. They came back with a disappointing reply saying the eye association can't issue glasses with an old prescription. Even though the site offers the option to upload a prescription or manually enter what you want, it seems like excuses to avoid providing the free lenses as advertised. They suggested a new evaluation for an additional cost, which defeats the purpose of choosing them for their pricing. My last glasses were done last year with the same prescription without issues. Therefore, their excuse is invalid. If they advertise free lenses, be cautious.
