A fantastic improvement in sleep quality

My experience has been excellent; before I got this device, I was using an over-the-counter mouth guard for snoring and teeth grinding. This one is a significant upgrade compared to the generic option. It's comfortable to wear, stays in place during the night, and has made a noticeable difference. I appreciate that I can still talk and drink while using it, and most importantly, 95% of the time, I wake up without a headache, which has greatly reduced my snoring and teeth grinding. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I enjoy much better sleep with it.

My experience has been fantastic

My experience has been fantastic; before using the device, I relied on an over-the-counter mouth guard for my snoring and teeth grinding. This one is a dream compared to the generic version—it's comfortable to wear, I don't constantly remove it during sleep, and it truly makes a difference. I appreciate that I can still talk and drink while using it, and most importantly, 95% of the time, I wake up without a headache, which has significantly reduced my snoring and teeth grinding. This device has exceeded my expectations, and I sleep much better with it.

Disheartening experience

I am disappointed that the night guard has not lived up to my or my dentist's expectations. Its use has even led to new issues, such as worsened temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems, jaw pain, and daily headaches. I have come to realize that this guard will not provide a long-term solution for my sleep apnea. At best, it offers only a slight reduction in snoring, and I feel a decline in my overall well-being while using it. As a result, I am quite unhappy with this purchase.

Long-time user with mixed feelings

I have used this brand's products for a decade. My first device was the Classic/Flex, which worked perfectly. However, after developing a crack a few months ago, I sought a replacement. I ordered the Avant model from my dentist, but I have struggled with it, particularly with the difficulty of opening my mouth to breathe. Consequently, I have returned to using my old cracked device. The cost of replacing it again is prohibitive. It's unfortunate that this situation cannot be improved.

Positive experience with the MRA

My experience with the MRA over more than seven years has been quite positive. I am still using the previous model with the 'fins,' rather than straps. A key aspect is that every morning, I use the blue 'mouth guard' to reposition my jaws correctly. I have consistently done this for seven years and have not faced any jaw problems.

Notable improvement in sleep quality

I have noticed a significant improvement in both the quality and quantity of my sleep. My headaches have also decreased considerably. It's comfortable to wear.

Highly effective with minor concerns

The device fits well and has greatly reduced my snoring. Occasionally, the lower part may come out, but it's not a major issue. I haven't experienced any jaw pain. I feel my lower jaw may have shifted slightly (my bite seems smaller), but this needs to be confirmed and is not a concern for me. I believe the band I used has stretched a bit. If it worsens, I will consult with a professional. It's easy to clean once you establish a routine. I highly recommend it.

No noticeable difference

I haven't noticed any difference after several months of use. I'm experiencing significant jaw pain and discomfort. I'm unsure how much longer I can continue with it. Additionally, the top splint is squeezing my teeth inward, which is uncomfortable.

The device seems to be working

The device seems to be working. If you cannot tolerate a cpap machine then I recommend using this device if you have no other options. I have noticed several side effects; The bottom plate keeps slipping out of place every time, you laugh, sneeze, cough, yawn and it's very annoying. It also causes mouth ulcers, dry mouth, leaves a plastic taste in mouth and it feels like plastic is breaking down and being absorbed by the body and hope in future they use non toxic more durable plastics that doesn't break down into the body. If these issues are addressed I would give it 5 stars.

Mixed results

While it certainly reduced my snoring, I'm unsure about its effect on sleep apnea. I found it difficult to get used to wearing the device, especially during times of chest congestion or coughing when I had to remove it. I was also concerned that my bite was altered despite using the corrective device in the mornings.
