You had one job!Currently stuck in a war zone, my flights have of course been cancelled.Can I get compensation? Use the insurance for another flight? Any other option?I have no idea because all of my inquiries have been ignored. Unbelievable!!!If you read this I'm still waiting for your response (and yes, still stuck), happy to give you my details, and possibly change my review if you show any interest at all in my situation.UPDATE:Happy to give more details (although you do have my name - just tell me what you need).BTW, I did get a reply more than 14 days later(!!) and after the war had ended - "I can confirm that your email has been forwarded to the AXA Claims team who will contact you directly.". Already safe in the UK after a harrowing journey home so a bit late.Update: eventually Southdowns did get in contact with me and explained my options. It was a bit too little to late but I've amended my review for their effort.
Terrible shocking claims processing. I have a very simple missed flight claim at the moment. The tactics deployed to make me give up are cynical.I have no decision on my claim nearly 2 months on. They send the odd question out 2 weeks apart hoping you’ll not bother. I’m in the insurance business and it makes me feel ashamed of the industry. I’ve even taken out more holiday cover at extra expense now because I don’t trust them. Don’t respond to this with a generic reply Axa Southdowns, just stop being so rude and lazy and get back to me.
