Completely useless. Filed a claim for an injury that occurred in America. They threw out the claim saying that it happened before the insurance was bought (this is because they were reading American dates incorrectly!). Since then we have continually explained the injury occurred after the policy was taken out. This has been over multiple phone calls and we have provided photo/video/message evidencing this to be true. Having to now go through an appeal and potentially work with the ombudsman to try and get our money back. Please don’t use this insurance company. They are just awful.
Every positive review is AI generated fakery. Avoid at all costs. I've never dealt with a more incompetent company in my entire life. Underwritten by the scum company that is Axa. 6 months and hours upon hours wasted dealing with mumbly foreign script readers at the end of phone lines Alexander Graham Bell would be embarrassed by giving incorrect information and delaying the claim. I hate all of you. With every fibre of my being I hate you and wish you all the worst things in this life.
Terrible experience. Don’t pay a dime here. Didn’t get my money back as I didn’t name I had a cough back in 2023.My insurance claim was for a food allergy anaphylaxis and they scrutinised my medical history to the point where the thought a chest infection or IBS was related to me and the experience I had when I was overseas. I found this to be insulting and unfair considering I can’t help having food allergies and that now, thanks to Southdown travel insurance, I can no longer get my money back due to a silly little cough I had in 2023. Unless you want your money back don’t go here. They are very snakey when it comes to your money.
