I had received a renewal invite which was around 50% higher than last year's premium.Did a little research online to see what the competition was offering, but decided to try Southdown's customer services number - what a refreshing change.Whilst the usual legal jargon needs to be trotted out, it was done in a pleasant and helpful way (thank you very much to Chloe - she was excellent).Not only that, by updating some other details, I ended up with the same policy but for slightly less than last year's premium.I have used this company for a few years now and even if I had just accepted the higher renewal quote this year, it would still have been cheaper than the competition.To have a decent set of people dealing with customer service is always a bonus, and shows that computers have a long way to go before they take over!
Southdowns insurance was great. It was easy to talk to their customer service staff and they cover our existing medical needs so that's wonderful. Really easy to order. Haven't left for our trip yet but hopefully wont need to use it but always good to know everything is covered.
