There is something seriously systemic wrong with SW water. All I wanted to do is inform them of a change of address. Apparently that is too simple. On a watts app call I was told the meter was in the garden. It isn't, and there is no garden, which I knew to be the case. He then kept messaging me for three hours about meter readings even after I'd told him several times I was not well enough to continue the unnecessarily stressful conversation at that point and get back to them later. He still kept sending me messages against my wishes. In the end I had to block him as he was just harassing me and didn't listen. This was merely me trying to change address!!! Previous time I spoke to SW water they told me I'd have to lift a manhole cover and they know I'm disabled!!
Obviously I shall be raising a complaint with them and speaking to manager as it's not acceptable but what I've come to expect from their staff. They seem to think that if they harass you and are as obstructive/ unreasonable as possible yet add the words ' I'm sincerely sorry' or ' I sincerely understand ' on the end of all their ridiculous advice and comments it somehow mitigates their unacceptable customer services. Actually it's worth not living in the south west just to avoid this lot, it can feel like they enjoy upsetting their customers, their training must be terrible
I applied for lower tarriff as my water bills were significantly higher, i didn't realise i had been on the lower tarriffstill as my bills kept creeping up, i was then transferred to the highest tarriff..I cant save on water usage anymore anymore than I am doing so, but my bills keep creeping up and up and now iv been advised i will be paying 50% more
Overpriced and undrinkable. I used the same amount as last quarter, yet my bill increased by £50. I have no explanation for this since I even placed a brick in the toilet system. The water sometimes tastes terrible. It feels like daylight robbery, and there are no alternative suppliers available.
Exorbitant and undrinkable. I used the same amount as last quarter, yet my bill surged by £50. I have no clue how this happened, as I even placed a brick in the toilet system. The water occasionally tastes awful. It feels like daylight robbery, with no other suppliers to turn to.
Set up to fail. I opted for a free water-saving device offer that required taking a survey. After completing it, I could select free items, but I had no idea what that meant. I tried calling customer service, but after a long wait, I was informed I was 10th in the queue. Since the department I called wouldn't have helped anyway, I hung up. It seemed like a PR stunt designed to make obtaining anything impossible.
I was billed £3000 for two months, during which I was not home. No water was used in my one-bedroom flat. I requested the meter readings taken, and they were different from my own. When I inquired why this happened, I was told it was a mistake. This company is fraudulent, exploiting vulnerable individuals without any remorse. They need to improve significantly.
My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. The service is lacking, with unannounced outages leaving customers without essential services and no updates on the company website. Additionally, the behavior of the engineers is unacceptable; they were rude and disrespectful. This reflects poorly on the company and severely undermines customer trust. Immediate improvements in service quality and employee conduct are necessary.
You don't want to work here. I spent 8 months at this company, and it was a negative experience. Employees don’t get breaks while managers take multiple breaks and chat. There’s too much nepotism; if you don't know anyone, you won’t advance. They made it clear there’s no room for progression.
