The drone show was reasonable but not enough to make the rest worth it sadly. I was told on arrival that parking was extra because I didn’t book parking before hand - I hadn’t thought I’d been given the option - I spoke to a few others who said similar. If this sort of charging counts as drip fees then it’s illegal. At best it’s rude and annoying.
I’ll echo everything everyone else has said about the long queues and excessive prices.
Personally I spent a £120 just on tickets for 3 adults and 5 children, and you could easily spend the same again on inside entertainment, drinks and food.
I would not go back and I would not recommend.
The drone show was amazing. Maybe they need to work a bit on a better background story. But overall worth it.
Can’t comment on the food. The fair rides are 4/5£ which it’s same in most fun fair so fair price.
The main show (started an hour late) was ok, definitely a cool gimmick but while the repeated claims of over 600 drones may have been true overall, you don't see more than 100 or so at a time and they mostly just sit there displaying a slightly rotating image. The rest of the experience was atrocious the tribute acts couldn't sing, they we're off pitch and out of time. There were a few overpriced rides. About 10 food trucks the only reasonably priced one was the £12 pizza which was so busy it had an hour wait from ordering, the rest were £17+. £8.50 for a pint. Cadbury hot chocolate (the instant powderd kind from a shop) was £4.50 (small cup) with another hour queue. Almost 2 hours to leave the car park which admittedly is a venue problem.
The entire event was definitely a money grab but has potential either as a quick standalone drone show or if they actually get good bands/singers as a fun day out. Would have been better off viewing from a distance for free.
I thought the ticket price was about right for the event and the drone show itself was excellent. Jack Headley was very good, the Taylor Swift tribute was OK, but ABBA... meh. Food and drink was vastly overpriced as it always is so I'm glad we took a picnic. Would definitely go to see another (different) drone display but they need to up their game with the tribute acts.
I wouldn't be returning
I paid over £80 and wasn't worth it!
The acts wasn't great definitely tyla swift tribute she murdered the songs!
The main show was delayed by one hour which I know couldn't be helped!
But once started it was over within 10 minutes.
Definitely will not be coming back.
Also we had to pay £7 for parking on top of the tickets was a nightmare getting out of the car park and we had to pay extra to take a picnic! For my daughter
Hi the actual Drone show was good. The car parking was easy. But the event itself wasn't good. Advertised as family fun come along at 4. Well the fare was tiny 10 mins and u have walked around it. There wasn't enough food halls. If u came in at 4. You had walked around it by 4.30 then nothing to do till 8.30. Poor fare and food
Due to winds the drone show was delayed an hour and we were frozen 🥶However when it came on it was amazing! Really enjoyed it & great little storyline. Was definitely worth the wait. I would suggest more coffee stands & somewhere to shelter out the wind?? Some people had to leave without seeing it
