Very overpriced event

Very overpriced event, food too expensive, rides only for small children...drone show was good, but very short and felt like an add on to the money making event not as the main attraction. Won't go to any of those again!!!

A Story for Children

Had a good evening with all the entertainment and a good selection of food and drink. Thankfully we dressed appropriately for the cold weather. Thought the drones were really good but didn’t realise that the story behind it was for children so felt slightly disappointed after all the hype. We did have a good time though.

Late show and too cold

We entered without any issues even though we were unable to download the tickets due to poor internet connection, the staff were helpful and found us easily on the system which was a relief. The food was exspensive £14 for a pizza 🍕 , however, I must say the pizzas were amazing by ‘Dough with the Flow’ by far the best looking food at the event. We would have liked a coffee but the Q for what appeared to be the only coffee stall was always huge. We spent more than expected on the rides due to the drone show being over an hour late, £4-5 per ride, rides were ok and kept the kids entertained but I was surprised the ‘hook a duck’ was £5 for one go 😳. It was disappointing there was no where to sit with food. We opted out of the ‘take a chair’ due to the weather temperature in March and it was an additional cost, but it would have been nice to have had somewhere to put our food either a tall table or seating, this made the eating experience uncomfortable. It was bitterly cold and our kids were wanting to leave despite us wrapping them up warm with hats, gloves etc. Our original plan was to leave after the drone show and before the Taylor Swift attribute so we could avoid the traffic exiting and get the kids home and in bed (7 & 3 years), but we ended up leaving just before the end of the drone show to ensure we wasn’t held up getting out the car park. The drone show itself was good and the kids enjoyed the story telling, however the delay and cold put a downer on the event.

An enjoyable experience

I went to Space Safari in Lincoln and it was genuinely impressive. The story told through the drone display was brilliant, really well put together and completely captivating. I found myself just watching in awe the whole time. The opening act, a local singer, was also outstanding and set the tone perfectly for the evening.Overall, a really enjoyable evening

Space safari drone show

Organise for the summer would be better next time. Music acts were brilliant felt sorry for them that it was so cold. At least it would be warmer if it does get delayed. Waited in line for 40 mins for £30 round of sachet hot chocolate, and £8 for a hot dog that was just thrown together and £10 for a cheeseburger that was cremated. Getting out of the car park was horrible and poorly organised. Someone even hit my car trying to push through. The drone lights were brilliant and whole family loved them.

Very poor and very expensive.

We arrived at 6 knowing the drones were delayed however the fact you charged for picnic, good that was far to expensive and then couldn't guarantee for gluten free or nut allergy especially in this currenr economical climate,Parking was charged for with no alternative transport links up there. We were bored and freezing cold by the time they actually went up late!! Felt sorry for those performing with no shelter from the winds. Test drones were up at 7.30 so programming could have been changed for drones to go up early as per the email that was sent earlier in the day. Made worse by the continually commentray Drones will be up in 5mins 15mins later still nothing and the again drones up in 5mins and as for getting out no traffic management within the showground just stood talking and laughing when we asked what they were doing to help just got told what do you expect us to do!! The 2 on the actual exit gate to A15 were good at doing their job. Dont think will be going againOn a positive drones were good.

It cost a packet. They clearly hadn't vetted the quality of the food or the entertainment.

It cost a packet. The pork roll on offer was inedible and nothing like the photo advertised. It had a white slimy sauce instead of the lovely looking brown bbq sauce. The chips tasted of the oil they were cooked in. £10 of yuk. The fair had no atmosphere whatsoever, the candy floss was £5 a bag and the 2 Abba tribute girls couldn't sing. Even the parking was £7!. They clearly hadn't vetted the quality of the food or the entertainment. Id like a full refund.

Thought the drone show was excellent…

Thought the drone show was excellent and reasonably priced. Would liked more food and drink vendors and maybe craft stalls too. Tribute acts were horrendous and considering we had to wait longer for the drone show there wasn't much to occupy us. Getting out the car park was a nightmare and needed traffic guidance people to make exiting the event as smooth as entering. We would love to see a drone show again but things would need to improve

I recently surprised my son and a few of his friends by taking them along to this event,I was very pleased and think it was fairly priced for the experience. I would definitely attend another.
