Review Time
Outrageously expensive......everything that was involved with the evening. They made you pay for a chair and to take your own food in for your kids then they didn't even bother checking the ticket......rip off. Drone display was put back to 8.30, it was a family day, so for children this time is getting on. Understandably this couldn't have been helped due to winds. Overall the display was average at best. We had to leave to sit on the car and watch as it was extremely cold, again, couldn't be helped. I wouldn't go again.
Attended last night not great at all the wait as what little was there was so so overpriced and expensive. Many people left before the actual drones and many left within minutes of drones startingWould not attend again was quite dissatisfied and very bored including the kids
Due to winds the drone show was delayed an hour and we were frozen 🥶However when it came on it was amazing! Really enjoyed it & great little storyline. Was definitely worth the wait. I would suggest more coffee stands & somewhere to shelter out the wind?? Some people had to leave without seeing it
Would have been 5 * but for the delay. I understand that a show like this is dependant on the weather but the hour delay was the difference between staying to the end or leaving early, due to other commitments. What we did see was beautiful and I would 100% rather watch this along with the story to fireworks. Better for the environment and the wildlife. Shame it was so cold last night. If it shows again next year, I will definitely go again.
The drone show was well worth the wait in the cold! Very spectacular and aaw inspiring.We also thought that the first artist (the local talent) that performed on stage was excellent. He sang a range of songs and had a fantastic voice. However, we were extremely disappointed with the two tribute acts. Neither sounded remotely like the artist they were supposed to be portraying. Their voices were absolutely dreadful! It was a bonus to be able to bring our own chairs and picnic but it felt like there was add on after add on to the original ticket price when you included parking fees too.The extra waiting time didn't spoil our experience but it would have been improved if we didn't have to endure the poor tribute acts whilst waiting.A big thumbs up to the local talent and the drone show though 🙂
The drone show was lovely but the rest was false advertising. No fire breathing or anything cool like the Facebook clip showed. Just extremely overpriced food with a few crappy rides. It was so poor we left and came back just for the drone show.
