The drone show was fab

The drone show was fab! Great selection of food vendors. Rides were a nice touch but a tad expensive. The opening act Jack Hedley was great, ABBA OK AND Taylor meh!A good evening of entertainment but it was brass monkeys! The car park was bedlam after the event ended.

Space safari Lincoln show ground

The drone show itself was good ,although we found the story telling muffled What let it down on a cold night ,no shelter ,only 2 hot drink stands ,one sold out ,standard poor for £6.50 performers on a rickety old stage no cover or wind break for them ,must have been freezing ,The food stalls too spread out ,would have been nice to have someone showing u the drones ,or a bar in a marquee ,nothing much to do for adults for 4 hrs ,Car park on leaving was a shambles ,only one steward who wasn’t even doing anything ,an hour to get out ,for a extra £7 for all the cars would have expected more ,

Was it really worth it?

Overall I think the concept of it was great . I was quite impressed with with the drone display as were the kids although they were a little chilly but Thats to be expected when you sign up to watch something in the middle of a field and it gets delayed for reasons out of their control . I will agree with others food was overpriced. We chose to take a picnic and eat it in the car in the warm as I refused to pay extra for a chair so we took a blanket instead. The tribute acts weren’t the best and could have done with being on bigger stage but it was my birthday and personally I was happy for a boogie with my daughter. Would I go again?? Maybe not unless it was better priced as I don’t think the tickets were worth their face value but hey as a fullTime working mum it was a night out so what’s to grumble about.

I wish I hadn’t booked

I wish I hadn’t booked - expensive food (which was terrible) and expensive short rides and not much else to do for the 4.5 hours they recommend you go there for before the drones. They delayed them for an hour and a half - with young kids that were bored, hungry as the food was nasty, and tired of waiting we left before the drones were even on. A waste of time and money. I read reviews after and at least we did get something - I’ve heard others didn’t even get that. Don’t waste your money - I wish I hadn’t.

We enjoyed the space safari when it did…

We enjoyed the space safari when it did eventually happen, a shame it was put back over an hour due to weather conditions, I did feel for the tribute acts on that stage not protected from the cold windy weather, I was shivering and was well rapped up, so it must have been bad for them in flimsy clothing, so they didn’t do to bad under the circumstances. But everything else was a shambles, food and drinks were just a rip off, so was car parking, and the queing for hot drinks was ridiculous, could have done with more hot drink stalls with the weather so cold, getting out of the car park was a joke, not very well organised at all. Won’t by be going back to Lincoln show ground in a hurry that’s for sure.
